WHAT Our short term enrichment programs provide an incredible opportunity for students to thrive, explore, discover, and learn. Plus+ offers immersive learning experiences that range from two-week camps to ten-month academic immersion study programs. Our programs adopt the IB approaches to learning. Programs are designed by leading education experts to achieve IB’s student-centric learning outcomes.

WHERE Learning occurs at our 17-acre gated campus. Students are immersed in the safe, engaged, connected, local Canadian community of Summerland. The area is know for its abundance of winter and summer outdoor activities and is ranked as #1 place to live in Canada in terms of climate. Summerland is located to the east of Vancouver and can be accessed via a 45-mins flight or a 4-hour scenic drive.
UNISUS PLUS+ Learning Focus Are: OUTDOOR EXPERIMENTAL EDUCATION The classroom moves outdoors as students take part in a variety of outdoor leisure activities from hiking and kayaking to skiing and snow shoeing. Students can also participate in our multi-level Duke of Edinburgh Award program.
TECHNOLOGY AND STEAM Through workshops and project work, students learn hands on the fundamentals of augmented and virtual reality, coding, and robotics.
INNOVATION / ENTREPRENEURSHIP Students learn the core competencies and business skills needed to transform an idea a business. Activities include team project work solving real-life business challenges. Learning cumulates with students-led business competition.
SPORTS AND FINE ARTS ACADEMIES Student joining our sports and fine arts academies are high performing athletes looking to further develop their skills and competencies. Key focus areas include hockey, downhill alpine skiing, and performing and modern dance.
SHORT-TERM IB IMMERSION PROGRAMS International students join Unisus students throughout the academic year to experience our IB and English immersion programs. Programs range from two-weeks to ten-months in length.
