Description Student displays a willingness to complete the assignment of reading “The Gospel of Advertising” and works with team members to devise a way to break up the digital resource so that the workload is equal. Group discussion is evident along with contributions to the class upon start of whole group instruction. Student either completes an assigned section of the graphic organizer or does so independently. Concentration on specific examples cited in the digital resource promote discussion within the Reading Team as well as other groups. Student makes at least (1) connection from the historical content to that of contemporary society and culture, specifically advertising. During whole instruction, the group illustrates a marketing strategy of the 1920’s but using an example from today’s world. Student applies content discovered through the reading of “The Gospel of Advertising”, completion of the graphic organizer to their own Wallwisher submissions and at least (2) of their fellow classmates. Feel free to exceed that limit within the boundaries of responsibility and relevancy to the assignment. Student dedicates appropriate amount of time to working within the group, utilizing the digital resources and completing the assignment. Arguing with group members and digressing from the topic at hand will result in automatic loss of points in this section.
