Master’s specialisation in Social and Organisational Psychology In the Master’s specialisation Social and Organisational Psychology you study behaviour in formal and informal groups, such as work or sports teams. Do you want to understand how people function in groups and organisations? During this programme you will discover how people’s thoughts, feelings and decisions are influenced by other people. You will learn to contribute to social interventions that address concrete societal or organisational problems.

u A distinctive feature of the Leiden programme is that the curriculum integrates social and organisational psychological theory and practice. u You have a lot of freedom within Social and Organisational Psychology to choose the subjects you like most, for your internship, thesis and elective courses. u Some examples of research currently done in the Social and Organisational Psychology department are: leadership and performance within organisations, conflict resolution, negotiation, interventions for proenvironmental behaviour.
