Take grand plans and figure out how to make them a reality or become a rigorous problem-solver and understand different perspectives to make projects a success.

Our courses are designed to broaden your expertise and boost your employability. We’re situated in one of Europe’s largest regeneration areas and our construction, transport and logistics programmes maintain close ties to industry and major organisations, granting fantastic internship and placement opportunities.

Our network of contacts allows regular access to ongoing projects and site visits, where our students gain valuable hands-on work experience. We ally with major partners to carry out world-leading research and make sure our courses are always effective, contemporary and reflective of the needs of employers.

We cover a range of areas from project management to sustainability and construction law to use of technology. By graduation you will possess top management skills, be able to think critically and solve problems effectively.

Outstanding Facilities

Use our Professional Qualifications Laboratory, Engineering Laboratory, Specialist Surveying Laboratories, Architecture and Visual Arts Centre, Microprocessors Laboratory and Power Laboratory. We have industrylevel software including the Building Information Modelling digital system.

Accredited

We’re accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators, which includes the Institution of Civil Engineers, Institution of Structural Engineers, Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation and Institute of Highway Engineers.

Career Focus

We have a great record of accomplishment in helping students find work placements with major companies such as Taylor Woodrow, Morgan Sindall and Crossrail.

Strength In Diversity

Our students come from many areas of life and expertise, from construction to architecture and transport to logistics; some even studying law, meaning you’ll find a course that matches your goals.

We work collaboratively with the UK’s largest manufacturer of recycled lightweight aggregate, as well as Arup, a global engineering consultancy firm. Together, we’re working on a project to make lightweight concrete mix more sustainable and lessen its carbon footprint – part of a wider mission to improve sustainability within the construction industry. We also work on collaborative research projects with Newham Council focusing on addressing transportation challenges. Our Master of Science (MSc) programmes have ‘industrial placement’ options that are delivered in close collaboration with engineering and IT companies. Studying Construction, Transport and Logistics at the University of East London will see you go from strength to strength and will allow you to grow in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
