ATTENDING CAMPUS SAFELY - COVID-SECURE CAMPUS (Health questionnaire, Daily health update, Safezone, Test and Trace app)
Our step-by-step guide for enrolled students to have a safe and secure arrival on campus includes the following:
1.
2.
Once you have fully enrolled, your Track My Future portal will direct you to complete a Covid-19 Health Questionnaire. This will be used to support your timetable (which is also accessible via Track My Future). Please complete and submit this one-off questionnaire to determine your health and readiness to come to campus at the start of the academic year. It’s accessible for not yet enrolled and fully enrolled students on Track My Future.
As the University re-opens its doors, our priority is to provide a safe and welcoming environment. We are embracing and adapting to new ways of teaching, learning, working and having fun. This ‘new normal’ requires all of us to take an active role in promoting the safety, health and wellbeing of every community member. We must all do our part and we must all work together. These are challenging times, but we can still embody the University of East London’s core values of courage, passion and inclusion. We are, therefore, asking every student and the wider community (staff and visitors) to commit to the University of East London Covid-19 Community Pledge.
3.
This pledge includes a commitment to Covid-secure behaviours and actions, to support and encourage each other to follow this pledge with kindness and respect. It also informs you how any health-related data will be used. You will be able access the pledge via Track My Future – please see page 12 for full details.
Once you have completed the pledge, you will have access, via Track My Future, to the Daily 123:
TEST Complete a two -question online daily health status update to help determine whether or not you should attend campus that day.
DISTANCE D ownload the UEL Safezone app to ensure you check-in when you arrive and leave campus to keep updated about space availability, campus capacity notifications and health communications.
TRACK Keep informed about potential transmission contacts as the first University to have access to the UK government’s track & trace app.

Look out for the Daily 123 on your Track My Future platform for further information and links. Depending on the layout of your device, look for the Daily Health Update widget on the top right corner of Track My Future page or bottom of the page. The Daily Health Update (DHU) will allow you to check for Covid-19 symptoms on a daily basis and determine if you should study from home or if you can come on campus in line with your timetable. You will receive confirmation via your email address. Before submitting your first DHU, please ensure that you completed your Initial Covid-19 Health Questionnaire.
You will be reminded about the Daily 123 every time you log onto your UEL account.
We are working to establish a Covid-19 Test Centre at the Docklands Campus, and will share further details on this in due course.
