Who is this course suitable for?
Tom will talk about his experiences as a dyslexic author; how books are made as well as giving an insight into what makes a good story along with a tonne of hints and tips to make any doodler into an artist.
Students will then get the chance to create their own comic books to take home, from exploring character; plotting out stories before bringing it to life in their very own comic book. No experience needed. Just remember to bring your imagination!
This course is suitable for children who love stories, reading, writing or drawing. If you’re a confident writer but a nervous drawer, or the other way round, that is absolutely fine! It’s about learning something new and tapping into your existing skills.
