WHAT’S IT LIKE TO STUDY ARCHITECTURE AT SALFORD? / Our Location Salford is a thriving, diverse centre in the northwest of England, surrounded by rich architectural heritage from the industrial revolution, with fascinating new skyscrapers on our horizon. Once again, in 2019, we were ranked in the QS World Top 100 centres for architecture and built environment study and with our green campus a mile away from Manchester city centre, we have strong industry connections. / Facilities Across all architecture courses, the purpose-built design studios in our flagship New Adelphi building are at the core of your learning experience, as are the workshops which house high specification equipment. / Industry Our links to both local and international architecture practices enables you to gain real-world context for your studies as you experience live briefs and guest lecturers. As a Salford student, you’ll also attend our annual Degree Show where you will have the opportunity to engage with industry professionals and make those vital connections before you graduate. / Societies At the University of Salford, we have a range of student-run societies which cover all aspects of student life, from academia to sports, politics to the environment, performance to faith. Whether performing comedy, climbing through the countryside or raising awareness of cancer in young people, you will find a society of likeminded students where you are able to relax, socialise and enhance your skillset.
