Paradise awaits. This guide book serves as a compendium for the visual characterization of Oasis Games, Inc. Within it, you will find the guidelines and standards for wielding the Oasis Games image and making use of it. Furthermore, you will be guided through the design process behind the company’s creative identity, down to the last step. We ask that all individuals coordinate their efforts to thoroughly understand the purpose of this manual, as well as how to put it to use.

Project Overview Oasis Games is a Los Angeles-based video game development and publication studio seeking to revolutionize the virtual entertainment industry and establish a creative brand that captures the eyes of individuals all over the world who possess an affinity for video games and electronic gaming. The company’s name is inspired by the image of a mirage-like oasis, which is what a video game essentially is: an illusory, alluring space. The Oasis Games trademark should function similarly.
Design Goals The overall design for the Oasis Games image should: • Clearly market the products and services offered by the company • Invoke sensations of both nostalgia and futurism • Resonate with and entice consumers of all ages

The logo consists of three colors, with each one possessing a deeper meaning: orange symbolizes the sun setting over a desert oasis; blue symbolizes the crisp, pure water of an oasis spring; gray symbolizes equilibrium, which is essential to harmony in all things.

Montserrat, a geometric sans-serif typeface, is used throughout the creative mediums of Oasis Games. This smooth, round typeface was chosen to complement the circularity of the logo symbol, as well as read quickly to the naked eye.

Dual-style logotype
The combination mark logo of Oasis Games is meant to invigorate senses of both nostalgia and futurism in its viewers. The symbol depicts an old-school electronic gamepad constructed out of three adjacently-placed buffering wheels, with buttons on both sides and a palm tree in the center. The logotype contains contrasting text styles to reflect the duality of the aforementioned themes, with the colors corresponding to the buttons on the respective sides of the gamepad.

Black & White Logo with Ratio The Oasis Games logo should be utilized at the correct ratio of 1:0.48. Any and all distortions, including stretching and skewing, that break the ratio are strictly forbidden. The correct ratio must be maintained at all times.
