Forestry and Agroforestry Achievements OPERATIONAL STRATEGY
Identification of potential production systems with potential economic growth in communities within and around protected areas. Identification of threat for these production systems forecological integrity for protected areas.
Analysis and action plan for prioritized value chains.

OPERATING MODEL Most projects were funded in joint venture with private enterprise, grassroots and second degree. Under the model called "Inclusive Trade Relations" (Embedded Services), private enterprise invests among other things, training programs and technology transfer, including good agricultural practices and manufacturing ensuring quality standards of the products for sale.

• 1,300 MSMEs implement good agricultural and manufacturing practices, through the training and technical assistance on 3,900 acres. • 607 farms certified producers with stamps Rainforest Alliance, UTZ, Organic, 4C. • 7 Organized and legalized Credit unions ; 6 are currently in the process. • 3,625 MT of coffee exported to Europe, the United States via Benefit Santa Rosa, BECAMO, COHORSIL • Annual net sales of L.113, 998,129 million Lempiras. • 1,382 new jobs created.

Geographical Area: PN Jeannette Kawas; RVS Cuero y Salado; PN Pico Bonito; y PN Montaña Nombre de Dios. • 327 MSMEs implement good agricultural and manufacturing practices through training and technical assistance under the FFS methodology on 450 acres. • Center benefited cocoa with COPRACAJUL Credit Union, Jutiapa Atlantis, with capacity for up to 4,500 qq of dry cocoa per year. • Macro drying station and cocoa benefited the Cooperative San Fernando, Omoa, Cortés, with capacity for 2,200 quintals of dry cocoa per year. • 46.6 MT of cocoa exported to Switzerland via Chocolats Halba. • Annual net sales of 6.5 million Lempiras. • 367 new permanent jobs created.

Rambutan
• 361 MSMEs BPA and BPM implemented under the technical methodology under assistance in the field, where 780 hectares were attended to. • FRUTELA packing plant in Tela, Atlantida, with capacity for 2,000 packs of five pounds of fresh fruit Rambutan. • 55,000 boxes of rambutan of 5 pounds exported to USA. • 100,000 field boxes exported to El Salvador. • Annual net sales of L.35 million Lempiras. • 718 new jobs created.
