Hi, My Name Is Jai

LalaKiki Productions Vancouver, Canada Playwright: Jai Djwa Director: Raugi Yu Image Credit: Jai Djwa https://bit.ly/MyNameIsJai

It’s a beautiful day for baseball, sports fans... too bad we won’t be seeing much of the game. Though the slams may be grand and the fly-balls may be poppin’, this irreverent, quick-witted comedy show from Vancouver sketch duo Cake Walk is far more interested in the action that happens in between the innings and behind the scenes, whether it’s going down in the commentary booth or the nosebleed seats. Finally, a stadium experience, with none of the sports.

Why would you change the name you’ve been answering to your whole life? How do you find a new one? Why would anyone go to the trouble? Artist and performer Jai Djwa brings you on his journey with friends in HI, MY NAME IS JAI. Learn the secret power of changing your name in this funny and poignant show, directed by Raugi Yu.
