Clubul Impact ,,SALVE” The "Salve" Impact Club at the Gymnasium School “Tiberiu Morariu “ Salva was born in October 2016 following the implementation of the "Connect with the Community" project of New Horizons Foundation, a project developed with the purpose of setting up Impact clubs in county schools and from the country, to carry out community-based projects

IMPACT (Involvement, Motivation, Participation, Action, Community, Youth) is an extracurricular educational program based on an experience learning strategy, giving young people the opportunity to

serve others, thus developing both a strong character and key life skills. Community service projects cause students to look around, identify problems, and find ways to solve them themselves. Thus, for a first project, Salve Impacts, a number of 23 students, of multiple needs found in the community, concluded that the need to reopen the communal library, saving the volumes from total destruction and reentering this small but precious the universe of knowledge, in the cultural circuit of the village, prevails. Always working in bias, this center - the library - will attract more people, young or young, to read, to learn more, to socialize more, and all of this will have a beneficial effect for both directly involved, and for those with whom they interact, acting on language, creativity, thinking, and behavior. The project was realized on 8 March Souvenir Fair, "Gift for Mother, Gift for the Book". From the collected money and those received from the FNO materials were purchased necessary to arrange a room in the library. With dedication, diligence and much work, a first step towards finalizing the project was achieved. The success of the project, members of the Club Impact Salve, children and parents in the community, teachers, met and debated, hoping that the project would not stop here, that this first action was an impetus for the whole community.

School Salva –interwar period

We know little about the beginnings of the school in Salva, and the written testimonies, how many remain, are just some fugitive notes from which we can not figure out the degree of its development and the conditions in which it worked. From some documents it can be seen that even here, as everywhere on the Romanian soil, the first teachers of the people were priests, deacons and sometimes monks. And as the early beginnings of the school were closely related to the church, we will have to wipe out the old chrisoffs that will talk about the past. In Bishop Ioan Micu Klein de Sadu's bishopric in 1733, we find the situation of the population and priests of that time from all the villages in Transylvania, assigned to the Archdiocese. In this document, nothing is said about the education at that time; yet it comes to our belief that some of the priests would have dealt with the school problem, especially since the school was left exclusively to the church. As unquestionable proof of this, in the Nassau district, some documents found in the

Bistrita archives can be found, mentioning the conscription made in 1740 that speaks of 14 deacon-teachers in the Rodna Valley, and in an act in 1746 we read about "Studiosus et cantor-son of John of Salva ". In the 1850 conscription, "Ludi-magistri: Samuil the monk of Feldru, Athanasius the monk and John of the Popes of Sângeorz, Grigore of the Pop of Maftei of Ilva, the son of Vasile of Salva, Basil of Pop in Mitita". He and Senate depended on the appointment of the "Associate Professor," and his payment was also approved by them. In the Salva school, besides those "Studiosus and cantor ori ludimagistri", there would have been others who would continue the line of teachers who, we believe, were not interrupted, or, if that happened, could not take too long, because with the militarization of the Rodna Valley in 1762, a particular emphasis was placed on the organization of the school. On the basis of the newly established Nasaud Regiment, formed from the 22 communes from the Upper Somes, starting from Mocod to Rodna, residing at Salva, public schools began to be built in several border villages , and teachers in these schools were recruited by First day at school 1965- Cesa Nazarica and cantors, faces or other book scholars, Vasile Tomi. and in the happiest cases of students graduating from the Blaj school or other schools. In 1770 the so-called tribal schools with three branches of education

Meanwhile, national communal schools with Romanian teaching language were also founded, in trivial schools the German teaching language was introduced in order to prepare the NCOs and officials from the military and communal administration. The "Court of Vienna" had the interest that the soldiers should be as well prepared as possible, and therefore supported the efforts of the frontier leaders to found primary schools in all border guards. About the school of Salva is remembered in 1837 and then in 1838 when, among his students, Nichita Ignat was also 7 years old, the son of Dumitru Ignat called the Moldavian military professor of Salva. The names of the first teachers in Salva are not known to us, but their existence proves the outstanding people who have risen over time on the banks of this school.

The Salve's testimony dates back to 1245, but the traces of human habitation and living are a few millennia. The name of Salva is of ancient origin, probably Dacian from "Sal", which in Indo-German means "water" and in Sanskrit "Hall" has the same meaning "water", "island". Like all the villages in the Rodna valley, Salva and its inhabitants enjoyed great rights and immunities from ancient times. They have constantly struggled to keep them, and have managed not to be kneeling in the midst of times. They defended the estate, but especially defended their faith. Many have paid for life. Among them is Tanase Todoran of Danila from Bichigiu who

was broken with the wheel like Horea but 22 years before him (in 1763) because he did not leave "as the holy law to scold our th the place of execution, on the Mocirla Plateau in Salva, is a testimony of Todoran's deafness and heroism and the Border Guards in Nasaud. Being part of the Second Border Regiment established by Empress Maria Theresa in 1762, the Saluans recorded great heroic deeds in the history of this regiment on all battlefields of Europe between 1763-1851. The heart of the Savior's inhabitants has always beaten alongside the hearts of the Romanian brothers over the mountains. In 1877-1878, many sons of Salva village went underground in Romania and fought with gun in hand on the Plevna rebels for the independence of the Motherland. Among them were Colonel Nechita Ignat, Brothers Nicholas Bodescu and many others. There were presented in Alba Iulia on December 1, 1918, dozens of Salauans led by Iuliu Morariu and the teacher Nicolae Mihăes who signed the union act with the Country. They faced the communist persecution and managed to preserve intact the valuable inheritance left by the forerunners. On the place where foreign masters once erased from the face of the earth with the canals of the Holy Lodge, the villagers built a marvelous church and in the vicinity of where martyred the old Tanase Todoran built a monastery.

Holly Water Monastery Salva is situated in a picturesque place that takes you with the thought of prayer,

understanding, peace, mind. On the beautiful hills of the Năsăud Mountain, on the hilltop of Migii Hill, the place called Marc Fountain, guarded by the mysterious murmur of the oak trees, the Dumbrava forest, would spring a "freshman" into the beautiful flower garden of the Transylvanian monasteries. The idea of building the monastery left the village pastor, parish priest Dumitru Moraru, and the village believers who wanted to have a monastery "at their home." It all began on October 1993 when they returned from sanctification in a place called "Gruiet", raising beautiful songs of magnification to God, and when, at the proposal of Father Dumitru Morar , the hearts of the faithful were lit up to build the monastery. At Sunday liturgy, the proposal was made to all participating faithful, receiving great enthusiasm

Tănase Todoran, known from the documents as "Todoran of Dănilă", was born in Bichigiu locality around 1659, being perceived in the conscience of Romanian natives as an almost legendary character by his age and deeds. Tănase Todoran would have had in 1763 matusalem age of 120 or 104 years. His son being dying, was supposed to receive the last sacrament, but because there was no Orthodox priest in the village, it was to be done by the Greek Catholic priest. Tănase Todoran declined his services because of his attachment to his Orthodox rite . It seems that when the Greek Catholic bishop Peter Paul Aron came to the area on May 4, 1763, Tanase Todoran refused to hand over the keys to the Orthodox Church, asking to be left alone in his Orthodox faith. On May 10, 1763, the 2nd Romanian Border Guard was planned to take the oath of faith towards the Empress of Austria, Maria Theresa. This event was to take place on the plateau of Mocirla, on the road between Nasaud and Salva, in the presence of great officials, such as General Nicolaus Adolph Baron de Bucow and Greek Catholic Bishop Petru Pavel Aron. On the plateau were the two border guard battalions and eight dragons. After reading the contents of the military oath, Tanase Todoran came out in front of the troops and protested the submission of this oath Attempts to quench border guards' spirits by the authorities have failed. Shortly after the revolt, a commission of the imperial army was sent to Salva, who, after six months of research, sentenced sixteen border guards to death for instigation and participation in the revolt. The Sentence was communicated and executed on November 12, 1763, on the plateau at Mocirla, where the rebellion had taken place. Tănase Todoran was pulled on the wheel, from top to bottom. Three other border guards were hanged. The others were told the capital sentence, then they were pardoned, and their punishment was shifted ten times up and ten times down amongst 300 soldiers with vergi. Following the blows, some of the convicts have died.

A story of the peacock feathers on the bells on the head of each housewife in Bistrita-Nasaud, unmatched and unmistakable in none of the four unique places in the world! A story of popular ornaments. A story of every kind of thing done by hand, as it is transmitted from generation to generation and how it will be carried forward from now on.

The ensemble, the "Salva Peacock ", was founded in 1963, at the General School Salva , with pupils of the primary and secondary school, under the direction of inv. G. Androne. At that time, at the Cultural House in the village, there was a strong band of twenty (24 members) trained by old-man Furcea Toma, Puica Anchidim, Jacob Flower. These bands braided their work, presenting common shows in which the beauty and diversity of local dances were harnessed. In 1970 this band turned into the Youth Ensemble and, with some interruptions, it still exists today. Also, in 1973 at the Cultural House there was a choral formation formed by peasants and teachers (80 members) led by Teacher. Morariu Felicia and Bolog Melania. Folklore has been and will remain the binder that connects the generation of generation, which makes the spiritual wealth of the Romanian nation survive over time, over millennia. Armed with a strong love for folklore, traditionally planted in the heart by Professor Morariu Felicia, the members of the ensemble "Salva Peacocks" of our school honored the invitation to participate in the first edition of the National Folklore Camp "Drăgaica" from the town of Zimnicea, Teleorman County, from 19 to 30 June 2004. Since then, Special guests are invited each year. The folk costume, the summer customs (the "Wheat Crown"), as well as the popular dances from Someş Valley and Sălăuţei Valley, presented by our ensemble, either in the official contest or at the Bucharest Village Museum or in front of the Zimnicea City Hall, delighted the hearts of spectators and organizers through authenticity, spontaneity and humor. Our pupils were rewarded with thousands of applause, winning the second place in the competition, a special prize for the authenticity of the costume and the dance. Since then, every year when this Camp opens its doors to the folk-lovers, the ensemble "Is invited by honor, receiving many prizes and awards. In 2015, the dancers returned with 4 honorable prizes: The pedestal in the boys 'kennel, comforted by the gentle gentle gentle wind of the southern wind, the little girl's feet playing on the bathing ground of the Danube, once again demonstrated that the young generation knows how to keep the parents and grandparents' tradition and can tell the charm and beauty of the folklore Transylvania, next to "Căluşul" Oltenia, the Maramureş dance or Teleorman "Drăgaica". The popular port represents one of the forms of culture of a nation, a "temple to the bearer", a part of the history and becoming a nation. In the case of the Romanians, popular costume is, without a doubt, one of the landmarks when it comes to identity, to our national values. Once, the popular clothes was part of the daily life of the Romanians, and the women were struggling to make beautiful, the splendor of the green field and the flowers in the meadow as beautiful as possible. The Romanians took the flowers from the field and put them on the popular costume to mirror the beauty of the sunny lands.

The art of embroidering beads has its roots in ancient times, when wealthy people embroiled their clothes with pearls and precious stones. But such luxury could be afforded only by some of the richest, and therefore, in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries with the development of glass making, an alternative appeared - the decoration of the beads with glass beads and crystal. The size of the beads gradually decreases - and so this type of handwriting appears - beaded embroidery.

Embroidery with beads in the nineteenth century was a popular and popular occupation, gaining popularity in this type of handmade work, especially bead decoration of icons, but towards the end of the century embroidery with beads suffered a small decline. In the second half of the twentieth century sewing practically reborn, became fashionable again among young people in the form of jewelery and other ornaments, and then extended to the older generation. Older people in this occupation tend to be more inclined to beautifully decorated beads, beaded sewing on clothing, and household items. The most important thing - is the quality of the beads. They must be of the same size as the optimal hole - not narrow enough to pass the needle, and not too wide so that it does not crack and not hang freely on the thread. The yarn must be thin enough and very durable, in tune with the color of the cloth. You will also need a circle or embroidery frame to fit the cloth well. It is best to buy a beaded embroidery set - so you will have all the necessary materials at your fingertips. Working with the beads.

WEDDING

“Green leaf and hazel Take your bride's good day, From father and mother, From brothers and sisters, from the flower garden ".

One of the most complex events in village life is the wedding, participating directly or indirectly in almost all the village. Traditionally, in the Nasaud region the family enjoys great respect, the families are well-wired, with well-educated children. Even now that there have been so many changes in all the plans, the family in the Nassau region is tough. The purpose of marriage was to have co-assistance and help, to have legitimate offspring, and not to be accused of having a meaningless life. The age of marriage has increased gradually from 15-16 years to 18-20 years in girls and from 17-19 years to 22-24 years in boys. Girls are considered fit for marriage when they go out. Then he must know the whole point of the house, and the boys know the purpose of the household "out and in the field". Parents' consent was obligatory for both young people, so they said they were "lucky" because they did not listen to their parents. The young men married in the age. It rarely happened that a girl would marry before the older sister. The best time for marriages was "in winter wages" on Thursdays and Sundays. In the last few years almost all weddings are held on Saturdays.

Girls living further are accompanied by sons to the home where they are "rewarded" at the door of the house by them. And if your left hand is eating, it means you get money; * It is not good to leave food on the plate because you will have a nasty husband * If you turn salt or pepper on the table you will have a fight

Superstitions began centuries ago when our messengers tried to explain the mysterious circumstances or events through the knowledge gained over time. For example, before the development of science that exits quite a lot of things nowadays obscure, yet for the people of those times some things were considered strange as why the mirrors show our reflections or why shadows appear when it is the sun, people of the past have motivated that a shadow or reflection was a part of their soul. If someone broke anything that the shadow or reflection appeared, people thought their soul was injured. Therefore, when a person who broke a mirror is considered bad luck or a big bad. Today, we know that reflections and shadows are not part of our souls, but it is still believed to break a mirror is a bad luck.

So, a superstition is "a belief or practice" that hangs on people even after new knowledge or deeds to prove that these beliefs are untrue

Between the March and Blagovestenie

Between March 10 and 25 there are some habits accompanied by superstitions related to them. So Alexies on March 17 is the time the rebirth of the small living creatures of the earth, closed on the Cross on September 14th. There is superstition to bind Alexis' s scissors in the house with a string to tie the bottoms of the cattle attacking the cattle. Being also considered Fish Day, for fish come out of the underground waters, fishermen celebrate for good luck in fishing. It is said that if you manage a fish alive by the Alexis, you will have a rich harvest of fishing. In the spring equinox, with varying dates from year to year (20 or 21 March, depending on the year), the girls put the wheat in blubs with water, invoking rains and fertility; Superstition says that as green and healthy wheat grows, there will be girls and shrubs. On March 25 is the feast called the Blagovestenia, the Annunciation, and the Day of the Cuckoo. The most widespread habit is to make a great fire by which bread, salt and water are placed, so that the angels warm, eat and drink. The bread and salt are then given up. This day no one should look for the gossip, it is bad; do not put your hands on the egg, and do not put an end, for the puppies are crooked and ugly.

The religious ones that are compulsory are: New Year, Epiphany, Three Hierarchs (Strenia), Annunciation, Flowers, Easter, St. Mary and Little, Cross Day, Good Friday, Smermed, Archangels and Christmas. Several years are celebrated on October 14 by Saint Paraschiva and on November 30 by St. Andrew. All these celebrations are strictly respected, they are not working, they participate in the religious service, they fast, they get help. The popular celebrations over the

It was telling us that the woman did not keep the day of the Odyssey, and that the wind took its cloth and turned it over to the church tower and was still alive today. Alexia - March 17 is the day when "the earth opens" and all the domestic animals and ghouls come out. This day, nothing is done to prevent "frogs" on the throat or to the underworld, to be protected from the snakes' bite, and the cattle not to

it will fill up with leeches and the house where it will be dressed this day will be full of ants all summer and autumn. "Thursday called" from Easter are designed not to give ice in the summer. Do not wear clothes with May. The July 21st is for people not to be outdated or battling while working in the summer, and to keep animals away from "hard times" in the summer. For the shepherds there is also the "Monday of the Shepherds", the first Monday of the fasting. Especially the mothers and wives of the shepherds keep it in order to keep them from storms and beasts. Foca - July 22 is for the "fire of fire" of the house, of the fodder on the border, of the shepherds. This day nothing works in the house, but it is possible to work in the garden at the laying of layers. Wild Wreath - Nov. 30 is to keep wolves from attacking animals and

humans. This day does not work with scissors, knives, needles, mallets, does not spin, does not weave. There are also other "appointed days" in the year, but they are related to a small number of women. Thus in January is held "Snow Saver" in order for people to "escape from the dead" and the bees to be fruitful. "Unworn Thursday" in the "white week" - the one before the big job is for good luck. "The Saturday Swallow" - the first Saturday in the high post is held for the girls and wives to have a beautiful hair. The hair of all the women in the house is washed by the "stroh" of hay from the horses, so that the hair grows often and nicely like the tail of the horse. After the mothers are weaving the girls 'hair, they are kicking them, saying "upside down, like the tail of the horses, so the girls' hair". "The head of spring" - March 1 is the day when nothing is worked through the house, but all day is working in the garden "clean the trees and litter lit up, digging for the layers, rake the lawn.

Salad Soup Ingredients 2 pieces of bacon 3 green onions 1 garlic green 4 green lettuce green dill 200 gr. sour cream 1 cup of beaten milk salt pepper Method of preparation: Blend the cubes and put it in the pot to fry. In the resulting fat add onion and garlic green, cut small (when winter you can use onion and garlic dry). Leave it to cool for a little while to soak, then put about 4 liters of water. When it gives the boiling water, add the green salad, washed first and torn to the right pieces. You can also use the jar salad you conserve for the winter, but it's better fresh. Boil it, add salt, pepper, and when the salad is almost ready to cook, make a separate mixture of cream and milk, then pour it into the pot. You let it boil and it's ready for soup. You put dill on top and an egg beaten when it cools. Serve both hot and cold (with ... mallow!). She's delicious anyway.
