EARLY NOTICE 25,35, 50 AND 60 YEAR BADGES
(To be presented at Branch Awards’ Dinner Sat 11 Sept 2021)
If you are eligible for these badges, please contact Leigh Craythorne (detail below).
Members must provide the proof of having completed 25 years continuous membership themselves (as there were only limited records held at National level before the early 1990’s.) E.g. You may have a copy of your nomination form or early membership list; the branch has bound copies of the “Hub” held in the library that may help you; ask the Branch Secretary’s permission to search the Branch Minutes; or I may be able to assist, as I have copies of some of the early membership lists.
Please attend to this and contact me as soon as possible as the badges have to be approved by the branch committee before being processed via National Office and forwarded to us from Wellington - delay may mean a wait until next year’s Awards’ Dinner for presentation.
Members do not have to have been in the same branch for 25, 35, 50, 60 years – it is recognition for continuous membership of the Club.
Leigh Craythorne, Phone 342 9110 email craythornes@actrix.co.nz Please Note : contact me please - do not contact National Office.
Need an excuse for a run in your car (or bike) on a Sunday coffee
OCBC is back again on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Arrive any time after 9.00am and bring any vehicle of interest – it doesn’t even have to be club eligible. Enjoy a coffee and just have a look at whatever turns up and a chat with fellow enthusiasts, and leave whenever you like. If you belong to a one-make club, please feel free to use OCBC as the start-point to a run or as a meeting place – the more cars and bikes we have there the better it is.
