The days are getting longer, not long to wait for the warmer weather…

Past Events.

10th – 11th July -Mid Winter Run. Unfortunately this event had to be cancelled. 14 July – Noggin. Held at The Bealey Hotel, Bealey Ave. A good turnout enjoyed the company of others in very convivial surroundings. 24th July – Fish & Chip Run. This was held in very fine, sunny conditions, even if a little cool. A good turnout of 15 or so riders, so I am told. The riders enjoyed a quiet amble into the countryside, stopping at the Leithfield Pub for lunch.

Future Events

1st August – Round the Bays Run. Meet outside PMH Hospital, 10.15am for a 10.30 am departure. John Benn is organising. This is a “just turn up” event, no formal entry forms etc. 11th August – Motorcycle Noggin. Motorcycle Corner, Cutler Park, from 7.30 pm. The fire will be going. 22nd August – National Club Day – Daffodil Run raising money for Cancer Research. Please see elsewhere for details. 28th August – Fish & Chip Run. From this month onwards the place to meet and depart from will be changed to outside PMH Hospital on Cashmere Road. As usual, meet at 10.15 am for a 10.30 am departure. On the F&C runs, there does appear to be still some confusion about just when it is held. The run is on the 4th Saturday of the month. In most months this may be the last Saturday, but this year (2021) 4 of the months have 5 Saturdays. 8th September – Motorcycle Noggin. At this stage nothing formally organised so it will be at Motorcycle Corner or if freezing cold in the Barn. From 7.30 pm. 11th September – Motorcycle Skills Training. This is a carry-on from the very successful event that was held in May. More details on this later on, so look out for information to come via the email later on. 19th September – Reliability Trial Event. 10.00 am start, at Cutler Park, McLeans Island. On at the same time as the OCBC coffee morning, so hopefully

will provide some entertainment for the club membership at large. Other onemake motorcycle clubs are being contacted to solicit their attendance and participation. See elsewhere for more details. 25th September – Fish & Chip Run. Meet outside PMH 10.15 for a 10.30 am departure. I think that is about it for this month, Cheers, Chris

MOTORCYCLE RELIABILITY TRIAL Cutler Park 19th September 2021

Any ‘bike may enter, big or small. There will be set courses around cones. Two courses; one morning, one afternoon. A rider must duplicate their times. (It is not a speed test). The organisers are planning an enjoyable day out for all.
