COMMEMORATIVE JOURNAL

WELCOME

Welcome to the Annual State of the Chamber and Board of Trustees Installation luncheon. Thank you so much for joining us to celebrate the accomplishments of the past year and hear the vision for the Chamber in 2025.

2024 has been another monumental year for the Vegas Chamber with many opportunities for our members to plug into information, relationship-building, and resources.

A few highlights that I want to share with you:

• We announced the Vegas Chamber will be relocating its offices to the new Civic Plaza in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas in 2025.

• The Vegas Chamber hosted the largest Washington, D.C. Fly-in in history with more than 300 members attending to advocate for the needs of our region.

• Our Government Affairs division successfully endorsed and helped elect candidates at the state and local levels who are committed to preserving our pro-business climate. In fact, 38 of 39 Chamber-endorsed candidates in races for State Legislature won their races.

• We hosted the 2024 Las Vegas Mayoral Debate to provide Chamber members and the business community with the opportunity to learn more about the candidates’ vision, goals, and plans for the future of Las Vegas.

• We produced several world class events including Preview Las Vegas at Fontainebleau Las Vegas, Business Expo, the Business of the Year Awards, and the Business Power Lunch featuring the Las Vegas Raiders to help you hear from influential leaders, connect with other business owners and executives, and showcase your brand.

Thank you to Chairwoman Betsy Fretwell and the 2024 Board of Trustees for their strong leadership guiding the Vegas Chamber, always keeping the needs of our members at the forefront of all the Chamber does. And we look forward to the leadership of 2025 Chairwoman Janet Uthman and the Board of Trustees in the coming year.
