LIFESTYLE Luna Tree was established in 2007 by Clare McCormack. Clare had previously worked in retail management and as a buyer for a multiple store Fair Trade gift and homewares business. Initial contacts with the village and the silversmiths were made over several years during her buying trips in South East Asia . The beautiful jewellery and the silversmiths creativity was something that stayed with Clare long after her buying trips had ended!

Clare works closely on the designs with the silversmiths on her visits to Thailand. Many designs are pure Clare. Some designs are a mix of Clare’s ideas and the silversmiths creativity. While some are pure Karen Hill Tribe designs. Not quashing their creativity is something which is very close to the central focus of the business, along with the Fair Trade ethics on which Luna Tree is run. Luna Tree has been a proud member of BAFTS|Fair Trade Network UK since 2009. Luna Tree champions a Fair Trade ethos and the 10 principles of Fair Trade at the heart of the business.
