Letter from The Editor

SUMMER DAYS After several challenging months, summer is upon us and we are venturing out into the world. This month’s issue is full of exciting profiles, grand openings, day trips, amazing eateries, delightful recipes, and so much more. We are especially proud to share an incredible photo story highlighting the Black Lives Matter protests composed by one of photographers, John Wardell. These photos showcase the passion, the determination, and the call for justice and equality. Here at Simply Bowie, we stand as one with our community. It is important for us to use our voice, to shout Black Lives Matter. Our mission is to serve the residents of Bowie, Maryland, Prince George’s County, Washington DC, National Harbor and the surrounding areas. To tell the stories of our neighbors, our friends, our community members. To connect local business owners and local consumers with one another. To be a resource. We will always do our best to use our platform to let our community be heard. Stay Strong Bowie and Stand Together
