The District’s reopening plan calls for 100 percent remote learning to continue through at least Labor Day. Then a hybrid remote/in-person model is tentatively scheduled for implementation on Tuesday, September 8. Details of the remote and hybrid plans are outlined in the full BSD2 Reopening Plan and in the BSD2 Reopening Parent FAQ, both of which can be reviewed on the District 2 website, bsd2.org.

ALL-REMOTE OPTION Any families who do not feel comfortable having their children attend school in person are not required to do so. They will have the option to continue remote instruction once in-person attendance resumes. Families interested in the all-remote option should contact their school’s principal.

WELCOME TO BENSENVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT 2 A new year brings new faces to our schools and classrooms.

Twenty-seven new teachers and administrators joined District 2 for the 2020-21 school year. The new teachers all went through the District’s two-day orientation program and were paired with mentors to assist them with their transitions into their new teaching positions. District 2 is excited to have such a talented group of educators preparing its students for a world of opportunities!
