Directions

01. Turn left outofthe car parkand walkalongCemetery Laneand Station Approach. CrossStation Road withcare andwalkalongThe Lizard(metalledroad)withtheRailway Pub to yourright.Continuealong thisroaduntilthe end, then through thegate(fingerposthere)into thegrassed area. Keepingthehedgeonyourright, walkthrough TheLizard(it canbe very wetawayfromthehedge). 02. Keepright to passthrough somemetalbars andenter awoodedarea(LizardLane)with a well defined footpath. Follow thisthrough the treesandexit to theleftof awooden gateonto a metalledpath. Turn leftandwalk over theA11 on a pedestrian bridge.

03. On reaching asmallparkingarea,turn left onto afootpaththrough akissing gate,thenleft through another kissing gate into Silfield Nature reserve. Walkpast apondonthe leftandcontinue withthehedgeonyourright toleavethe reserve, with awooden fenceonyourleft,though ahedged area on your right.

04. Walkaheadthrough agrassedarea to rejoin themainfootpath(marker post here)and continue aheadonafieldedgepathwith ahedgeonyour right.Wherefootpathsdivide,continueahead to walk across afieldonawellwornpath,then continue,initiallywith ahedgeonyourright,and keepingright to follow thefieldedge.

05. On reachingBurnthouseLane(finger post), turn leftandwalk to theY-junction,passing a windmill on your right. Turnright intoCompass Road andwalk to theend.Atthe T-junction,turn rightintoSilfield Street. Walkalmost to theroad junction,butturnrightontoa drivewaywithafaint footpathmarker on atelegraph post. Keep on the righthanddriveway,andthenleft to walk on the path to theleftofthehouse,past an oldtelephone box. Passthroughagapinthehedgeand walk on a grassypathbetween ahedgeand wooden fence.

06. Exitthrough awooden gateto walk on agrassy path across afield. Keeprightatthetreesandwalk aheadwithtrees on your leftandahedgeonyour right,stepping over an ivycovered log. Continue alongthe field edge. Turnright atthehedge(finger post)andwalkbetween wooden fencing(marker)to reachthe parkingarea(arrow at entrance).

07. Turnsharp leftandcrosstheA11.Walk forward on RightupLane,passingsomehousingonyour left. Turnright down arough track,andwalkback to TheLizard. Turn left on themetalled road and continuetoStation Road.CrossStation Road withcareand continue up Station Approachand CemeteryLanetoreach theCar Park.
