NORTHNORFOLK
North Norfolk oh how love thee ndless seascapes, flinty cli s and sparkling sea Timeless vistas, magenta sunrises, a watery canvas unfolds Crisp salt kissed air, a treasured gem to behold
uaint fishing villages and coloured crabbing pots Children searching for sea urchins, under seaweed clad rocks A special timeless place that never fails to delight Memories with our beautiful mum in seal searching ’ delight
Dressed Cromer crab, smoked prawns and lobster a smorgasbord delight Seagulls whirring above the eroding cli s, precarious in flight The striking Cromer pier juts artistically silhouetted to the sea Families perched along, crab nets cast, whooping ’ in glee Fish and chips a plenty
’ , ice cream and strong mugs of tea Cli path walks and woody rambling trails, linear to the sea Fishermen ’ s boats bobbing, trawling the early days catch Wind turbines sun lit on the distant hori on patch
Shell patterns and sand castles scatter the beach with watery moats Grandad sat watching the tankers, sea jets and pleasure boats While dad digs a hole to cover the kids in a wet sandy grave Seashore children dipping toes will they venture in and be brave
Come along to Sti key for a muddy creek surprise Walk over the marshes gathering salty samphire supplies Let’ s spot an egrit or two at lovely Morston uay Sail o to see the seals up the winding creek to the sea Blakeney is bustling with crabbers crowding the wooden uay While others escape on a rambling mission heading to the sea Children slide, slip and slither in the creek’ s glistening mud Making slippery wet slides down to the river, giggling with a thud
Kayaks, dinghies and canoes slip silently out with the tide Time to explore the peaceful estuary, enjoying a watery glide Peaceful lapping of salty sea water and wildlife in the creeks The sharp sea air fills your lungs and pu s out your sun kissed rosy cheeks
Life is in slow mo
’ here on the North Norfolk coast Simple things based around nature favoured by the most njoy the nature along this most enchanting shore Making you come back year after year for more and more.
