Albrie Marie Fregia Albrie Marie Fregia, infant daughter of Michael Fregia and Amanda Mead of Liberty, passed away, Fri., March 15, 2013 in Liberty, Texas. Service was held, Fri., March 22, 2013 at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton with burial at the Wilderness Church Cemetery in Liberty, Texas. Albrie was preceded in death by her great-grandmother Betty Fregia, great-great-grandparents James Harrison and Rosalee Dagle, great-great uncle Charles Granger, and cousin Coby Holder. Survivors are her parents, Michael Fregia and Amanda Mead, brothers: Hunter Fregia, Heyden Fregia and Colby Staley; grandparents: Craig and Nola Mead, Raymond Fregia, Jr. and Linda, Sheryl and Jason Lankford; great-grandparents: Kenneth and Joycelyn Mead, Mary Smith and Irene Hoover, and Raymond Fregia, Sr. and Gracie; aunts and uncles: Cameron, Zack and Dustin Mead, Joe Fregia, Sr., Terry Fregia, Alexus Lankford, Matthew and Kitty Jackson, Shane McGowan and Eboni Fregia, and Patrick Hall; great-aunts and uncles: Johnny and Kerri Fregia, Jamie and Melissa Mead, Elvis and Regina Fregia, Nell Fregia, Denise and Rosie Cook, Raymond and Liz Dowdell, Terry and Helen Tower, Ron and Norreen Mott, Lee Mead, Michael Mead, Billy Roy and Sara Fregia, Stoney and Vanassa Fregia, Evil and Lori Fregia, Shawn and Joyce Ann Richard, Kendra Mead; and cousinsLacey Jackson and Patrick Jackson.
Funeral services for Wilburn T. Booth, 81, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Denman Avenue Baptist Church with Brother Jeff Moats, Brother Charles Roberts, Brother Kevin Roy and Brother Keith Nash officiating, and Brother Ron Meadows, music. Interment will follow in the Largent Cemetery. Brother Booth was born October 15, 1931 in Liberty, Texas to the late Helen V. (Green) and Joe H. Booth. He died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at his residence. Brother Booth graduated from Hardin High School in 1950 and was the Valedictorian of his class. He graduated from the University of Corpus Christi in 1954 with a BA in Bible, and graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1963 with a MA in Divinity. From there, he pastored Mineral Springs Baptist Church, Bedias First Baptist Church, and Cottage Grove Baptist Church in Houston. He then served as Camp Manager and Administrator for 25 years at the Peach Creek Baptist Assembly in New Caney and the Camp Copass Baptist Encampment in Denton. After retiring to Lufkin in 1996, Brother Booth continued his ministry by doing interim pastorates and interim camp administration. He was currently a member and deacon of Denman Avenue Baptist Church. Brother Booth was involved with the Texas Baptist Men Retiree Builders, Civil Air Patrol as a ham radio operator, SBC Disaster Relief Program, Senior Adult Bowling League, member and officer of the Southern Baptist Camp Managers Association. He was an avid outdoorsman. He met and married Shirley Rae Blewett in Corpus Christi on September 25, 1954, and was married for 56 years until her death in December 2010. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Jeni and Ted Williams of Rosebud, Texas, Sheri and Mike Cassin of Lufkin, and Lauri and Brian Pendland of Palestine; son, Joe Churchill of Wilmer, Alabama; brother-in-law and sister-inlaw, Kenneth and Nancy Blewett of Kingsbury, Texas; grandchildren and spouses, Carey and Rachel Williams of Denton, Ben and Alyssa Williams of Moffit, Veronica and Gary Amoe of Lufkin, Valory and Shaun Crosby of Oakwood, Kaili Jo Williams of Rosebud, Morgan Churchill of Pensacola, Florida, Joe and Stacy Pendland of California, Jason and Holly Pendland of Round Rock, and Jeremy Pendland of Palestine; great grandchildren, Heather Chambers of Denton, Branson Williams of Moffit, Austin Williams of Denton, Aaron Williams, Cameron Williams, Paisleigh Williams, all of Moffitt, and Emerie Crosby of Oakwood; nieces and nephews, Kevin Blewett, Michelle Targun, Beth Cassarona, Kathy Everett, Robert Booth, and Tim Booth. Brother Booth was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Shirley; and his brother, Leonard Booth. Pallbearers will be Randy Arnold, Glenn McDaniel, Eric Pope, Matt Jordan, John Jordan, David Burke and Terry Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Lusk, Bob Waltman, Buddy Jordan and James Jones. He truly loved his Lord and in everything he did in his life, he exemplified Christ. He has touched countless lives through his many years of ministry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Denman Avenue Baptist Church, P.O. Marshall Alvin Jones, 65, of Dayton Marshall Alvin Jones, 65, of Dayton passed away on Thurs., March 21, 2013 at Liberty-Dayton Regional Medical Center in Liberty. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat., March 23, 2013 at Concord Cemetery in Rye, Texas. A gathering of Marshall’s family and friends will be from 5-8 p.m. on Fri., March 22, 2013 at Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton. Marshall was preceded in death by his parents James and Ruby Jones; brother, Danny Jones. He loved fishing, drawing and puzzles. Marshall is survived by his sisters, Stella Ewing, Vonna Aviles and husband, Ramon; companion, Cindy Brewer; and a host of other family and friends.
