Angelo Delea’s company has been founded in 1983, inspired by the bordeaux type of wine-making with refinement in barrels (barriques) of precious wood of French oak from Allier and Nevers. The most important products of the firm are the Merlot Carato, the Carato Riserva, the Chardonnay, the Apocalisse, the “crus” as the Merlot of Losone “Saleggi”, the Merlot of the locarnese “San Carlo”, the Merlot of Gudo, the Lavertezzo Piano, the Sparkling wine “Charme” and the new wines of the Vineyard Castello di Cantone from Rancate (Mendrisiotto): Bianco Ticinese, Merlot del Mago, and the Grappa (eau de vie).The new spectacular wine cellar includes: the wine-tasting area, the ultramodern Wine cellar for the production, a large barrels cellar of 3’000 m2 with 800 barriques, the Museum, l’“Acetaia” for the Balsamico and an the new and moderne distillery, where they are produced different “Grappe” and distillates of fruit. The vineyards of his productions cover 21 ha.
