he Walton Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with The Small Business Association held an event titled Craft & Commerce in late May at the Point Washington Preserve. The Preserve, a hidden gem if you’ve never been, hosted and sponsored the event along with Southland Utility Services. As the name says, business discussions along with light bites and cold beverages was the agenda of the evening. Specifically, the much discussed mobility plan and proposed impact fees created educational discussions and insightful questions from the crowd. Chamber President Megan Harrison gave a heartfelt view of potential consequenes of the plan giving insight to citizens, community leaders and business owners present.
