Indian Idol Junior

The extremely popular singing talent show that captured the imagination of the nation, will for the first time embark on a search for a new young voice that will enthrall millions of viewers across India as Sony launches Indian Idol Junior. Indian Idol has created a niche for itself as the biggest singing talent show in India. Now the platform will open its doors to young singers between the ages of 5-15 as Indian Idol Junior starts its mission to showcase the best young singing talent in the country.


Jhalak Dikhla Ja From 2nd June At 19:30AEST/17:30AWST On Colors

Judges: Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar & Remo D'souza. After a successful stint last year, Colors is back with Jhalak Dikhhla Ja - Season 6. This popular reality show is the Indian version of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing and ABC's Dancing with the Stars. Twelve celebrities will compete with each other along with their choreographer partners. Funny man Kapil Sharma joins Manish Paul as host this year, promising loads of laughter between performances!

Jolly LLB is a court room drama about a small-time lawyer from Meerut who moves to Delhi to reopen a case of a rich Delhi kid, who is accused of mowing down six pavement dwellers with his speeding car. The brash youngster is let off for lack of evidence but the lawyer who is frustrated about his stagnant career, decides to file a PIL and challenge the acquittal as a brainwave for quick fame.

Saraswathichandra is a poignant love story of two soul mates: Saras and Kumud, who are denied the joy of becoming one by destiny and tradition. This years highlights include the Chevalier Sivaji Ganesan Award for Excellence in Indian Cinema, a new Best Short Film category and scintillating performances by Birju Maharaj, Siddharth, Tamannaah, Varalaxmi and Vedika. The Jury for the awards was cinematographer Rathnavel, Director Vetrimaran, Director/Actor Cheran, Director Venkatprabhu and Director Yugi Sethu.
