When I launched VISIONAPARTMENTS in 1999, I would never have thought my business concept could scale this well. I was not only a young entrepreneur, in a way I was also a pioneer, as the serviced apartment business was still entirely unknown in our part of the world. But I was brimming with enthusiasm – and what’s more, I was full of conviction and drive.
I’m still just as optimistic today, and my belief in this segment grows and grows. I believe the potential remains high, and would assert that our sector is a business of the future, as our services offer a new art of living, which could soon attract larger target markets than “just” the typical business travellers or modern nomads.
Even though we keep growing every year, I still pursue my goals with the same energy as when I opened my first building in Zurich. It is important for me that every one of our apartments bears my personal signature. As a design enthusiast, I have always insisted that each of our apartments is a place I would be happy to stay in myself. These standards will not change in future, no matter how the business develops. As a visionary entrepreneur, I vouch for high quality, service standards and VISIONAPARTMENTS’ unique selling point with my own name.
