‘Win with Ranveer Singh’ SM Competition Terms & Conditions
1. The ‘Win with Ranveer Singh’ SM competition is hosted on VisitAbuDhabi’s Instagram & Facebook page only.
Competition Mechanism
All participants must comment on IG VAD post “Competition Alert” with a creative and fun Itinerary for Ranveer Singh’s next summer vacation in Abu Dhabi.
2. Each participant is allowed to submit ONE ‘Itinerary’ only.
All competitors must tag a friend who they want to travel with to Abu Dhabi with and follow the @VisitAbuDhabi Instagram page.
3. The duration of this competition is ONE week starting from the day that the ‘Win with Ranveer Singh’ SM competition post is posted on VisitAbuDhabi Instagram & Facebook pages.
4. The closing date of the competition is as specified, and DCT Abu Dhabi reserves the right to amend the competition’s terms and conditions including the end date at any time.
This competition runs as follows: the starting date is June 8, 2023 and the closing date is June 22, 2023.
The competition will pick ONE winner in total
ONE winner will be announced on @visitabudhabi Instagram Stories and the competition post (upon winner’s confirmation that he/she will be able to avail the prize).
5. By entering this competition, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and that you agree to them.
6. Upon entering this competition, contestants acknowledge and confirm that they are individuals, and not companies or businesses or professional entities.
7. Incomplete personal information, information submitted late, or information that does not comply with the rules set out by DCT Abu Dhabi shall be deemed unacceptable for the purpose of this competition, and any information provided by participants and all information entered is the property of DCT Abu Dhabi and may not be returned. Participants waive any right to claim otherwise and DCT Abu Dhabi may utilise this data for the purpose of its official work.
8. DCT Abu Dhabi shall not bear liability for any damage, loss, injury, and so on incurred by a participant that participated in this competition, or for any event that occurs as a result of their not accepting the prize. Further, DCT Abu Dhabi will not bear liability for any problems or technical breakdowns incurred by any computer, system, server, service provider, software, hardware, or for any email failure or interference that happens to their account, or any internet issues or failures, or for anything that is encountered on any website, including any injury that occurs or represents a result of participation in the competition or downloading competition materials.
9. All insurance and PCR needs are to be arranged by the competition winner and DCT Abu Dhabi accepts no liability for damage, injury, delays, or any incidents arriving from force majeure and/or Act of God.
10. The competition winner will be selected by DCT Abu Dhabi, and at DCT Abu Dhabi’s sole discretion. The decision of the judges is considered final, and no correspondence will be entered into. Participants waive any right to appeal or criticise the decision of the judges.
The competition is open to anyone aged 18 years or over except employees of DCT Abu Dhabi and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with DCT Abu Dhabi or judging of the competition.
The winner selection will be done randomly
11. The competition winner will be notified by telephone, direct message and/or e-mail. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within FIVE days of notification, DCT Abu Dhabi reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. DCT Abu Dhabi will provide selected the ONE winner with a prize consisting of:
Etihad Airways return economy flight tickets to Abu Dhabi for two adults
Shangri la Abu Dhabi Hotel stay for Four nights for two adults
The following terms and conditions apply to the prize:
There is no entry fee and no purchase is necessary to enter this competition. The prize is only valid and can only be redeemed with prior reservation and is subject to availability. The bookings may be subject to blackout dates which may be amended by the airline at any time.
No travel date changes are allowed on the flight tickets.
The prize is not transferable.
The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and DCT Abu Dhabi reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
Winner is allowed to bring a companion of their choice.
Etihad Terms & Conditions
i. All bookings must be made on one of Etihad Airways direct flights.
ii. This award certificate will expire on September 8, 2023 (Three months from the announcement of the competition) and no extensions will be granted.
iii. It is recommended that the ‘Winner’ books tickets before September 2, 2023.
iv. However, all travel should be completed by June 2, 2024 (12 months from the date of the issuing).
v. Applicable taxes will be payable by the recipient at time of ticketing.
vi. Award travel will not entitle recipients to complimentary services or access to facilities offered to non-award travel guests, Etihad chauffeur and Etihad Guest Miles.
vii. Award Certificates are non-transferable and have no cash, credit, or refund value and if sold, bartered, or altered would automatically be void.
i. Original letter should be presented for ticket issuance and identification is required at the time of ticketing.
ii. Frequent Flyer points cannot be accrued as part of this prize and prize winner tickets cannot be upgraded using frequent flyer points, or by payment.
iii. Travel during peak periods and embargo periods may be restricted. This includes, but is not limited to July, August, September, school holidays and the Christmas/New Year period. We highly recommended that you consider travel outside these periods.
iv. Seats applicable for award travel are subject to availability in the correct class of service. Please check with Etihad Airways direct on email MarketingPartnershipsBookings@etihad.ae for the availability or to book seats.
v. Bookings should be made directly through Etihad Airways no later than four weeks prior to intended travel date.
vi. Visa to the destination is not included, guests must apply for visa following the recommended process by the embassy.
vii. PCR or any of COVID-19 medical tests are not included.
viii. If the prize is not claimed within the specified time limit the prize will be forfeited.
ix. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions or cash equivalents are permitted.
x. Prizes must not be sold or auctioned.
xi. Chauffeur transfers are not included.
xii. Flights must be taken together.
xiii. Date changes are not permitted after booking is made.
xiv. Tickets cannot be upgraded.
xv. The prize does not include travel between winner’s home and airport, travel insurance, transfers, food and drink, personal expenditure or incidental costs. It is the responsibility of the winner to ensure they have a valid passport, travel insurance and obtain any necessary visas for their trip.
xvi. Upon receiving the flight ticket, it is the prize winner's responsibility to make sure all information is correct before travel.

13. Winners and their visitors must be fully vaccinated and share a proof of vaccination when contacted.
14. Participants must follow all steps mentioned in the competition post to be eligible to win.
15. By entering the competition, the winner and other participants agree to participate in this promotional activity and willing to offer the produced material as DCT Abu Dhabi may require.
16. DCT Abu Dhabi reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. DCT Abu Dhabi may also create rules which will apply to this specific competition only. Amended competition rules and/or specific competition rules will be published on the relevant competition page.
17. DCT Abu Dhabi will endeavour to arrange prize claims within a fortnight after the competition end date but cannot guarantee this delivery time.
18. DCT Abu Dhabi is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any participants by any third party connected with this competition.
19. DCT Abu Dhabi reserves the right to cancel this competition or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of force majeure and/or Act of God or any actual breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of DCT Abu Dhabi’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to participants as soon as possible by DCT Abu Dhabi.
20. Should any automated entries be identified, DCT Abu Dhabi reserves the right to disqualify and/ or block users from the competition.
21. This competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by United Arab Emirates laws and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Abu Dhabi.
