There is no wrong way to start your day in the “Hub City.” From sweet to savory items or breakfast with a Southwest flair, you’re sure to find it on the menu at these breakfast/brunch hot spots.

These local restaurants are laid-back and relaxed, but they certainly don’t compromise on flavor or West Texas hospitality. There’s no doubt you will experience some of the best food and drinks our city has to offer.

With so many restaurants to pick from here in Lubbock, it’s hard to choose a favorite. But these standouts have been satisfying appetites in the “Hub City” for years, so they must be doing something right. From Thai food to tried-and-true Texas barbecue, you won’t find these local gems anywhere else.

These relative newcomers to our restaurant scene have already made quite an impression. Ranging from upscale to “just like mama made it,” their atmospheres are varied. However, their equally delicious menu offerings will “wow” you into claiming one of them as your new favorite.

We have plenty of ways to curb your sweet tooth craving here in Lubbock. Cool off with your favorite frozen treat, indulge in a cupcake creation, pick up a pastry or sample a slice of cake at one of our local bakeries. And if you want to go back for seconds, we’ll never tell.

In Lubbock, we offer upscale dining without big city pretentiousness. Whether you’re cutting into a perfectly cooked steak, indulging in a pot of fondue or sipping a glass of wine from one of our award-winning wineries, these fine restaurants serve an elevated dining experience with every meal.

Texas is known for its barbecue and burgers, but you don’t have to leave Lubbock’s city limits to experience authentic flavors from all over the world. While in town, be sure to check out the “Hub City’s” take on Korean, Indian, Greek, Chinese, Thai and Italian fare.
