13-19 MARCH EUROPA CUP FINALS 2023 The action is in the Europa Cup slopes in Narvikfjellet. So get ready to feel the thrills of the big events first hand. This is your chance to see Europe’s best skiers competing in Narvik. Those who live here enthusiastically take part when a party is put on. We will have a huge folk festival for all visitors through several events before and during the championship. The town will be decorated, and ceremonies filled with enthusiasm in the compact Narvik square, which will be at the core of the town festival.

Football may be the largest sport in Norway, but when it comes to the arctic identity, nothing can match our enthusiasm for winter sports.

08 APRIL STORHALAISEN Join the local ski heroes for the biggest Easter event in Narvikfjellet! Together, they will build a big ski jump for an informal jumping competition, dress up in funny ski suits, and enjoy a barbecue in the sunny Easter weather. Relax in selfbuilt snow sofas to the sounds of good music and experience chill, fun at a high level. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable event.

22 APRIL TAKE A CHANCE Join in on the fun at the most exciting day of the year in Narvikfjellet! This event is not to be missed. Dress up in your wildest costume and grab your favorite snow-friendly means of transportation. Take a Chance and see if you can make it across the pool at the bottom of the slope. Awards will be given for the best trick, faceplant, costume, and means of transport.

01 APRIL REISTADLØPET Join in on the arctic madness at the cross-country ski race, held at 69° north and making it the northernmost race in the Visma Ski Classics. Choose from two distances - 50 or 34 kilometers - and ski through a stunning arctic mountain landscape from Setermoen to Bardufoss. On the Friday before the race, there will also be a separate Children’s Reistadsprint race held in the center of Setermoen. Don’t miss out on this unique and challenging event. 17-26 FEBRUARY ARCTIC ICE FESTIVAL The ultimate winter climbing experience. Harsh conditions are interwoven with breath taking beauty. Steep rock-faces rise from sparkling blue seas, ridges and mountains are cloaked in shimmering snow. Gleaming ice falls are rising up everywhere towards the arctic sky. We want to invite beginners and experienced ice climbers, as well as everyone in love with skis and the outdoors, to join us for the festival.

10 JUNE BACKYARD NARVIK Experience the excitement of a unique and social race concept in scenic Beisfjord. Run a slightly hilly lap of approximately 6.7 km every hour (totaling 50 miles over 12 laps). If you fail to start the next round at the beginning of the hour, you will be eliminated and can head to the "after run" room to cheer on the remaining participants. The first person to finish the last round will be declared the winner. Don’t miss out on this thrilling event.
