The basic idea of this design project is to create a joyful atmosphere for the guests so that they can gather together, share and interact with each other.
In the beginning, the Jomos people lived in caves called grotta. Later the Jamon people came out of caves and made villages of circular-plan houses, still keeping and following the image of caves. To the entrance hall, a covered wooden roof using the imagery of caves was proposed and designed. The structure combines wood panels and wooden beams.

Each villa has multi-dimensional landscape with overflow pools and tropical gardens. For every villa, our design also takes advantage of space using by lifting-twisting the upper block for bedrooms with privacy and open views. The lower block with living-dining-kitchenbedroom has the direct connection to the pool and landscape. Moreover, we put waterscape into the rooftop of the lower block in order to cool down the whole building and improve the rooftop landscape aesthetically.

OPEN SESAME! Everyone is familiar with them: the knobless drawers which are meanwhile standard for most modern fitted kitchens? And who hasn‘t also found that they are not quite as magical as they are supposed to be? The crème de la crème of these opening mechanisms were on display at the interzum 2015 in Cologne. And the performance of the Julius Blum fittings came pretty close to a true open sesame feeling. On a footprint of 1,028 square metres, the trade fair specialists from ARNO Design in Munich realised a central, interactive exhibit wall with trendy copper elements. When visitors opened a kitchen drawer by gently touching the completely flat surface, they triggered an information film. Black presentation walls encircling the stand were in stark contrast to the white exhibits of the specialists for kitchen and furniture fittings. With a canopy of orange and white fringes, the presentation was at the same time bathed in the CI colours of the company from HĂśchst, tying in perfectly with the other CI elements.

from 10m to 7m to form a more workable area, this was accomplished by a suspended wooden lattice that created a boundary around the dining area and low ceiling lights to create a sense of intimacy. Blacksheep’s first priority was to attract passing trade. This was achieved by opening up the frontage and creating an eye-catching façade using diagonal strips of oak accompanied by metal outdoor furniture with Iroko table-tops. Taking into account the scale of the interior – 10m high ceilings and a total area of 380 sq. m – Blacksh eep decided to give the restaurant a New York loft feel, combining wood and metalwork accents with a pared-down aesthetic. To make the space feel more intimate, Blacksheep installed a raised platform with booth seating and bespoke timber latticework, as well as designing huge custom-made light-shades. Blacksheep also created a large-scale bespoke artwork, in the style of Southern African Ndebele tribe, using thousands of painted wooden dowels. Bold and iconic, it hangs in pride of place as you enter the restaurant.

Backdrop of the bar area lies a wooden wall with alcoves where the daybeds partially tuck themselves into the wall. Oversized and soft furniture provides comfortable and relaxing seating for guests to sink into. A full-wall mirror at the end of the long space doubles the visual length of the bar area. Further in front of the indoor bar area is an outdoor lounge space with a large reflecting pond catching the reflection of both the sky and the droplet daybeds and lamps scattered around. From this area the space is opened up to the panoramic ocean vista and gentle sea breeze.

Being offered a wide selection of fresh ingredients, diners could pick and choose precisely what went into their hand-rolls. "Maki-San" We proposed naming the store “Maki-San� for one simple reason: the word “-San� roughly translates as “mister� or “missus� in Japanese, and by using this suffix, each Maki could be uniquely personified. This idea also extends to operations: customers can name their own rolls however they choose to. The logo is made up of emoticons commonly used in Japanese pop culture.

Light Reading Light Reading is an attractive light shade and is part of a range of book furniture. Every page is folded in half, producing a circular arrangement which hangs around a ceiling light. More books are printed every year, read and discarded. Even though many are taken to charity shops, they mostly go unsold DQG WKH FKDULWLHV KDYH WR SD\ IRU WKH ERRNV WR EH VHQW WR ODQGĂ€OO For example 10,000 books a week from one charity will go to waste. There is currently no infrastructure set up to recycle the paper from books because the paper is low grade and the glue on the spine must be removed.
