A Terrace-garden

A project with a total of nine duplex flats that offers interior landscaped areas to each of the flats protected by perforated GRC cladding developed using CAD-CAM resources.

The lighting was a key parameter in creating the atmosphere of the main rooms of the establishment, seeking to reflect the day-night transformation in a simultaneity of scenes and night ambiences which by RGB fluorescence allow colour combinations that transform the project into a true generator of visual impressions.

The assembly process of the new covering of the Valdaya winery starts with the presetting of the supporting substructure that will sustain the prefabricated GRC parts. By means of metal struts and clamping plates, each section of the facades with their respective breakdowns is set up with the three shades associated with the flat and bas-relief surfaces. 86

A new identity in the added value of the modular part of the facade, which transfers to the label of the wines from the winery, a new hallmark.

The new covering of the existing Valdaya wineries seeks to be a benchmark in the new architecture of wine with a lightweight facade designed in GRC, where different prefabricated flat and bas-relief parts are used, giving the project a dynamic covering.

The modular geometry of the matrix that makes up the new facade, is inspired by a wine region where the colour values of the vine are transferred to the skin of the building.

The site is located on the perimeter of the centre of the old town of Tarragona. The preliminary analyses of mobility, parking areas and public buildings demonstrates the lack of parking spaces in an area of the city where the demand for them is determined by the presence of important amenities.

The current state of the site arouses the desire to intervene in it to create a new public space for the city in which the current pre-existence of the Roman wall is enhanced.

Next to the Campclar municipal hall will be built the Olympic pool, which will remain for public use. The athletics track, pavilion and pool will be connected by an outdoor walkway to improve accessibility.

The athletics stadium will operate only during the Games and later become a rugby pitch and a large park with running areas.

Following the geometry of the site, the ground plan consists of a radial scheme of flows around the shops, leisure facilities and restaurants throughout the four floors of the building, which have access to natural light thanks to a glass dome on the roof, which emphasizes the centrality of the project.
