Zile [i Nop]i Albe la Snagov Prim`ria Snagov împreun` cu Funda]ia pentru Democra]ie, Cultur` [i Libertate organizeaz` în perioda 6 - 8 septembrie a.c. Festivalul Zile [i Nop]i Albe la Snagov. Proiectul î[i propune s` relanseze zona Snagovului, care de acum 80 de ani a fost conceput` ca un spa]iu de agrement pentru bucure[teni [i prahoveni. Anul acesta se împlinesc 80 de ani de când Primarul General al Capitalei Dem Dobrescu, în 1933, anun]a înscrierea Snagovului în circuitul turistic al Bucure[tiului. Manifestarea se bucur` de spijinul comunit`]ii de afaceri din zon`, unde - poate nu întâmpl`tor -majoritatea companiilor din Snagov au ca domeniu de activitate tocmai agrementul. Manifestarea va dura trei zile [i dou` nop]i [i se va desf`[ura în diferite loca]ii din Snagov. Vineri, 6 septembrie, prima zi a festivalului, este dedicat` bunicilor [i nepo]ilor, dar [i motocicli[tilor. Sâmb`t` [i duminic`, 7-8 septembrie, sunt dedicate publicului larg. Vor fi organizate manifest`ri sportive atât pe lacul Snagov - Regata Old Boys and Girls a fostelor glorii ale canotajului românesc - dar [i concursuri între echipaje formate ad hoc. Pe stadionul Comunei Snagov se vor organiza un meci „old boys” – membri ai na]ionalei de fotbal a României contra echipelor comunelor partenere, dar [i meciuri ale echipelor de tineret. Vom mai fi concursuri de pescuit, dar [i un concurs de g`tit la care vor fi invita]i s` se înscrie primari din diferite localit`]i. Bicicli[tii vor fi [i ei invita]i s` participe, pentru ei fiind organizate trasee [i concursuri, dar [i spa]ii de campare. Activit`]i în aer liber cum ar fi golf, echita]ie pentru copii, manifest`ri sportive organizate ad-hoc vor fi organizate în diferite loca] ii ale partenerilor, la fel ca [i un târg de produse tradi]ionale alimentare [i nealimentare [i un târg de carte. Tot cu aceast` ocazie vor fi lansate conferin]ele „Descul] prin iarb`” - o suit` de întâlniri cu omeni din diverse medii care vor vorbi despre domenii de mare interes în fiecare diminea]` între orele 07:00 [i 08:30. La aceste conferin]e vor fi lectori personalit`]i dar [i anonimi de succes cu profesii atipice. Serile sunt dedicate concertelor hard rock – vineri, [i un concert cu arti[ti de toate genurile - sâmb`t`. Bineîn]eles nu vor lipsi tradi] ionalul foc de artificii [i jocurile de laser. Festivalul se va încheia cu o defilare a ambarca]iunilor pe lacul Snagov la care vor participa [i riveranii cu ambarca]iunile lor.

Performan]` a alpinismului românesc! Pe 19 iulie o echip` cuprinzând 5 temerari alpini[ti români a reu[it în premier` na]ional` s` escaladeze Vârful Nanga Parbat din Himalaya (8.126 m), pe ruta Schell. Primii patru membri ai echipei au înfipt steagul românesc pe Nanga Parbat f`r` s` foloseasc` m`[ti de oxigen, iar cel de al cincilea membru al echipei – Bruno Adamcsek – a fost nevoit s` se opreasc` la 7.300 m, din motive medicale. Cucerirea celui de-al nou`lea optmiar al lumii s-a realizat pe un traseu care a durat mai bine de o lun` de la data plec`rii din Bucure[ti spre Pakistan.

Pe 28 iulie, la doar 12 ore de la revenirea lor în ]ar`, am întâlnit echipa de alpini[ti români în foaierul s`lii de concerte Mihail Jora a Radio România, la prima conferin]` de pres` sus]inut` de cei cinci. Echipa format` din Zsolt Török, Teo Vlad, Marius Gane, Aurel S`l`[an [i Bruno Adamcsek, înso]it` de managerul proiectului, Eugen Popescu [i de Paul Popescu, manager pentru rela]ia cu mass-media, au oferit în exclusivitate detalii [i fotografii din cursul expedi]iei. Dintre cei 200 de alpini[ti care au atins acest vârf de-a lungul timpului, mai pu]in de 20 au ales s` urce pe acest spectaculos versant. Alte dou` expedi]ii române[ti anterioare au încercat ascensiunea pe acest versant, dar niciuna dintre ele nu a reu[it s` ating` vârful pân` la echipa condus` de Zsolt Török. Având ca obiectiv principal ascensiunea unei echipe format` în întregime din alpini[ti români pe Nanga Parbat, expedi]ia care s-a încheiat sâmb`t`, 20 iulie 2013, reprezint` o performan]` de maxim` importan]` pentru România [i reprezint` un prim pas pentru reintegrarea acesteia printre ]`rile cu tradi]ie în alpinism. Acest proiect a reunit, într-o singur` echip`, alpini[ti cu performan]e [i experien]` bogat` în expedi] ii la mari altitudini [i a creat o leg`tur` între genera]ii diferite de alpini[ti români. Cei cinci alpini[ti au primit medalii din partea Radio România, ca un prim semn de recunoa[tere a performan]ei lor.
