Cuckoo Restaurant Saturday 25th October Dinner $60 per Adult.
VWCV Oktoberfest in true Bavarian style. Dinner at the Cuckoo restaurant in picturesque Olinda, providing a smorgasbord of customary Bavarian dishes within a Chalet Style atmosphere. Marvelous live entertainment including yodelling and the famous wood-chopping slap dance. and also to all the members who have supported the club’s activities and made them a success. I saw my role as one of protecting the interests of the members rather than directing what was to happen, which at times can be hard as coming from a military background the temptation was always there to jump in and take charge.
President’s Report Michael Cronin, VWCV President As this is likely to be my last report as President I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Committee for their support and efforts in running the VW Club over the past two years
It is interesting the number of times members have come and said we should do more of this or more of that type of activity or we are doing to much camping etc. We must remember that the Committee are volunteers and give up their often limited spare time to organise events, so naturally they

are more inclined to organise these types of events. So it is time to remind everyone that you don’t have to be on the committee to organise an event, all proposals are welcome.
