Aeropostale Lyndhurst, NJ | 65,000rsf

Aeropostale’s offices required an open studio feel paired with the needs of modern corporate users. Unique furnishings included executive offices with open glass tables and feature conference tables fabricated from airplane components. Several lounge areas for 24-7 users were furnished with soft seating that complemented the space’s architectural design. The open plan’s glass-topped workstations represent a complete shift in corporate culture for this company, and Workspace managed expectations by interacting with all groups and ensuring departmental needs were fulfilled. Kimmerle Workspace provided full solicitation and purchasing services, including a sevenmanufacturer pricing investigation and detailed configuration review with all corporate departments.

Vitamin Shoppe Secaucus, NJ | 70,000rsf over three phases through 2014

As a radical change towards a branded workspace, open office furniture is coordinated in Vitamin Shoppe marketing colors, and furniture throughout is provided in clean woodlaminate worksurfaces and satin metal finishes. With executive offices on floor, office specifications were highly customized to each user’s preferences. For Vitamin Shoppe’s new corporate offices, Kimmerle Workspace provided full solicitation services in addition to purchasing, installation, and project management.

Mapfre|RE North American Headquarters Florham Park, NJ

This European company’s headquarters space represented a full update to its interior culture and image - towards a European, clean, modern experience suited to their international profile. Incorporating branding colors into furnishings, along with fully open glass workstations, the space and furnishings were presented to Mapfre’s European chairman who strongly approved. Kimmerle Workspace provided all turnkey purchasing, installation, and project management services for this office.

A unique legal firm providing litigation and deposition solutions, Veritext has been serviced by the Kimmerle Workspace team in over five regions, with three further projects in 2014. Workspace worked with Veritext to develop national furniture and interiors standards, including an artwork program that highlights each location’s regional history and architecture while offering a unique take on branding and design consistency. Meeting all procurement needs, Workspace performed a detailed solicitation service involving six manufacturers, and has provided all furniture, artwork, and multi-region project management.

Profoto Florham Park, NJ

Profoto is a Scandinavian company providing lighting solutions to the best photographers in the industry. Kimmerle Workspace worked with Profoto’s local team to design a sleek and functional interior space that adhered to their brand’s black and white color scheme and supported their form meets function philosophy. Workspace successfully value-engineered the product scope to meet budgetary requirements by sourcing multiple vendors and supplying all furniture, stemming from private office, workstation, and conferencing solutions and even meeting specific storage and work bench requirements.

Mr. Kimmerle serves in a leadership role in Workspace, with a special focus on its solicitation services activities. Having worked with all major U.S. furniture manufacturers on client solicitations, he is accustomed to the hard-bargain engagements that deliver value to clients. Kimmerle believes that the greatest value for clients is delivered in national contract purchasing agreements, where he focuses his energies.

Ashley Rumble Project Manager

With a background in architectural design and project management, and extensive experience with contract furniture specifications, he is adept at overseeing projects under tight timetables with multiple party involvement.

Meghan Barlotta Project Manager

Ms. Barlotta has a range of project management knowledge working on projects from large corporate interior furniture installations to smaller residential energy-efficient retrofits and upgrades.

She provides assistance to the client, architect, and manufacturer to develop and finalize contract furnishings, floor-plans, standards, and finishes for clients, and prepares milestone schedules to document phasing, tracking, and coordination. Ms. Rumble also provides quotations, specifications, drawings, purchase orders, order tracking, warehouse & inventory coordination, management of sub-contractor coordination, and delivery and installation labor. Having begun her career at Knoll corporate, Meghan plays a lead role in Workspace’s solicitation, purchasing, and project management services. Her involvement has included overseeing all aspects required to achieve project goals and deliver successful outcomes on complex projects from inception through final close out.
