I wanted to create something unique and truly special for Adelaide and as you drive past the grand entry lakes and underneath the rows of palm trees, I welcome you and your family to South Australia’s greatest masterplanned community.

BRAND ANATOMY
The Riverlea brand is simple, stylish and recognisable. As a wordmark, it has a strong presence in the South Australian community and should not change or be altered in any way. Applying the Canela font, the Riverlea logo should not be typed, but applied as the image file to maintain spacing and brand integrity.
The brand has been updated to include an icon, giving it more agility across different applications, and strengthening its positioning. This is encouraged across digital channels, especially the new Riverlea Community App ; and in print as a brand recall opportunity.

The brand icon is the face of the Riverlea Lifestyle App.
The Riverlea Lifestyle App will help the residents of Riverlea to stay connected and build a strong community.
Logo Usage
The full logo and icon should not be changed or altered in anyway. These guidelines must be adhered to in every application. This will maintain the integrity of our brand and ensure consistency across its usage.
Whilst no minimum sizing rule applies to the Riverlea logo and icon, it is essential that it remains crisp and legible in application.
*The same logo usage guidelines apply to the Riverlea icon, which must not be changed or altered in any way.

The Icon should adhere to the same rules and should not be altered in anyway.
As a masterplanned community by Walker, the Riverlea brand must work in unison with the Walker brand guidelines. The Walker logo should be incorporated at every opportunity and respond to the design application, whether it be included as standalone to enforce the Walker brand or as a lockup as illustrated in the above example.
When we write copy as well we should always try to position the community as ‘Riverlea by Walker’ where possible, to ensure the master brand and its reputation of delivering masterplanned communities, is pushed through in our collateral.

BRAND HIERARCHY
Riverlea will host a number of built-product and retail brands within the masterplanned community. For this reason, it is important to understand the hierarchy of brand placement and the relationship between each.
Whilst the Walker brand leads the hierarchy relationship, this does not mean that it takes primary placement. Rather, this means that it should always be considered in design and be applied to all collateral prominently, in response to the design format and adhering to the Walker brand guidelines.
In all Riverlea collateral, the Riverlea logo should be most prominent and positioned as the ‘hero’ brand. The complete Riverlea brand guidelines must be adhered to.
In built-form products and retail centre collateral, these individual brand guidelines apply with their brand being positioned as the ‘hero’.
The Riverlea and Walker lock ups is to be included to acknowledge the brand relationship, as directed in their specific guidelines. Built-form products will further incorporate a building partner brand, with subtle but fair acknowledgement.
The Walker Communications, Marketing and Brand team are available to provide guidance when navigating brand relationships and placement on shared collateral.
The Walker logo should always feature in collateral. It may not always be the hero placement, but should feature predominantly whilst adhering to the Walker brand guidelines.
In Riverlea collateral, the Riverlea logo should feature as the ‘hero’ logo or as part of a lock up with the Walker brand; acknowledging the relationship of being a masterplanned community by Walker.
Riverlea built-form products and retail centres within the masterplanned community will apply their individual brand guidelines to specific collateral. The relationship of being a product by Walker within Riverlea is acknowledged in this placement.
We acknowledge our building partners for built-form product with subtle but fair brand inclusion.
BRAND PALETTE
Primary colours
The primary colours for the Riverlea brand are Riverlea Blue and Riverlea Teal. These colours now incorporate tinted shades to create agility and interest when applying the brand.
Secondary colours
The secondary colours for the Riverlea brand are Riverlea Silver and Riverlea Latte. These colours also incorporate tinted shades to create agility and interest when applying the brand.

PRINT FONTS
The print fonts for the Riverlea brand have been selected for their clarity and modern style.
Where possible, this font hierarchy should be applied in both print and digital applications.
Where the print fonts are not available on a digital platform, the digital fonts may be used instead, outlined on the following page.
The weight application for each typeface is open to the discretion of the designer, responsive to the project and design product. This discretion must ensure legibility, and establish proper hierarchy.

The digital fonts for the Riverlea brand are available for when a digital platform cannot accommodate the standard print fonts. These should be considered as an alternate font, and should follow the same guidelines as the print fonts in weighting, hierarchy and application.
