How will Bluetooth access will be rolled out across 4 Parramatta Square. The process of implementing Bluetooth access to 4 Parramatta Square does not change from how physical cards are rolled out, with the exception that an email address must be supplied for each user in order to issue the mobile access key. 4 Parramatta Square users will supply Walker with a spreadsheet of users requiring mobile access. This spreadsheet should include their name as entered into the access control system and their email address. Walker will return the list with the mobile access card numbers for each user. These numbers would then need to be entered back into the tenancy system.
How does the 4 Parramatta Square base building access control operate? Who manages this? The Parramatta Square onsite guards manage the base building access control. They are responsible for programming cards and monitoring the system. Each new card, both physical and or mobile are entered into the system in the first instance by the guards, who then forward the card details to the users management for entry into the tenant access control system. This process is in place today, it is much the same for the digital keys, the only difference is that an email address will be required for digital keys. JCI manages the access control hardware and more technical programming issues if they arise.

What is the process when a new starter joins? The process will remain the same as it is now, with an additional card number supplied for the mobile key as a part of the process. Each new card, both physical and or mobile are entered into the system in the first instance by the guards, who then forward the card details to the users management for entry into the tenant access control system.
How does the tenant access control feed into the base building access control. Are they one portal? Tenancy access control is managed internally by NSW
Can our users control access to the base building and fitout from their own end or will Walker control Basebuilding access? At this time Parramatta Square security are the only people with access to program the base building system. Likewise, NSW Government are the only people who can program the tenancy access.
How do the base building and fit out systems work together? The tenancy access control and base buildings JCI systems are completely standalone, the common link is the card and mobile access implementation on the readers.
Government, it is separate from the base building system. An automated feed between the systems has not been implemented.
5
Can access to the building still be provided using the swipe cards? Yes, physical cards will continue to work alongside digital  keys.
What happens when visitors use the building – will they have HID access? It is possible to provide mobile access with automatic timed expiry for visitors, there is quite a bit of flexibility with the system in this regard. It would be worth considering a mixture of physical and digital cards for visitors.
6
Will Bluetooth access control be linked to the basement access and end of trip? Yes, all key readers will have a Bluetooth module installed which means it will work within the whole Parramatta Precinct using the one Mobile Key.
What happens if I don’t have my phone? The physical card is the backup, a temporary card can also be issued by security if required.
Does the HID Mobile Access App need to be open when opening a door? The first time you open a door with your mobile phone, you should open the HID Mobile Access App. After that, the App, based on configuration mode in your phone, will be running in the background and you only need to light up the screen (and enter the PIN if you have set it up this way). Please note: As the device memory fills up (when you open other apps), the device operating system may close down apps that have not been recently used. From time-to-time it may be necessary to restart the HID Mobile Access App.
