What’s Happening After a year’s hiatus, GlobalFest returns to Elliston Park late this summer with five nights of international fireworks, together with food and entertainment from the OneWorld Festival. Fireworks competitions start on August 19 with the grand finale on August 28. “The GlobalFest team are eager to welcome back pyromusical fans to Elliston Park, after 24 long months without Alberta’s Most Explosive Festival,” says marketing/communications manager, Olwen Bell. Besides the fireworks competition pitting teams from Canada, China, India, Japan and the Philippines, Globalfest will also have over 20 international food booths to tempt everyone’s taste buds. The whole park has also been licensed to allow guests over the age of 18 to enjoy alcoholic beverages while remaining in their seating areas. Holland Park sales surge ahead Holland Park has always been about absolute liveability.
