NIGEL KENNEDY
Presents Bach plus Fats Waller & more Nigel Kennedy violin Rolf Bussalb guitar Yaron Stavi bass Krzysztof Dziedzic drum World-famous violinist, Nigel Kennedy presents a typically maverick musical programme celebrating the music of Bach plus Fats Waller and more. The concert begins with Bach sonatas and partitas for solo violin, after which he is joined by an acoustic guitarist, a snare drum and a double bass to perform Kennedy’s own arrangements of the music of the legendary Fats Waller, as well as classical cross-over pieces. A hugely entertaining and enjoyable evening where skill and passion come together for an electrifying evening of music. ‘The unlikely combination of music by JS Bach, Fats Waller (and a few others thrown in for good measure) showcases his ability to play music of all styles, and he’s mesmerisingly good – only someone as skilled as him could hold a stage by himself and keep the audience on the edge of their seats’ Nottingham Review TICKETS £39.00*, £35.00*, £31.00* GROUPS 10+ 10% off GROUPS 20+ 20% off

The superb score includes Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and the emotionally charged hit Tell Me It’s Not True. Few musicals have received quite such acclaim as the multi-awardwinning Blood Brothers. Bill Kenwright’s production surpassed 10,000 performances in London’s West End, one of only three musicals ever to achieve that milestone. It has been affectionately christened the Standing Ovation Musical, as inevitably it; ‘brings the audience cheering to its feet and roaring its approval’ Jack Tinker, Daily Mail.
