Since October 2010 HQ Theatres & Hospitality, alongside its sister company Qdos Entertainment, has been raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital’s Theatres for Theatres Appeal. To date we have raised £500,000 for the appeal which aims to build new state-of-the-art operating theatres at the hospital, which treats very sick children from across the UK. This money has been raised through the generosity of our audiences and the staff of Watford Colosseum who have taken part in various fund-raising events and activities. Presented by English Philharmonia and Chorus Following a triumphant performance of The Armed Man (Karl Jenkins) at Watford Colosseum in 2012, English Philharmonia and Chorus return under the baton of conductor Graham Wili with another exciting programme. Carl Orff’s dramatic and engaging Carmina Burana is both popular and instantly recognisable and shares top billing with George Gershwin’s thrilling and well-loved Rhapsody in Blue, for piano and jazz band. Adding pizazz to the evening is the world premiere of a new jazz piece, The Seasons, by Sebastian Weiss, commissioned by English Philharmonia Chorus especially for this concert.

BOOKING INFORMATION BOOK ONLINE Book your tickets at a time that suits you using our 24-hour online

booking service. It’s safe, secure and easy to use; choose your own seats using our interactive seating plan. Simply visit watfordcolosseum.co.uk, select the show you want to see and follow the easy on-screen steps. Don’t have online access? Don’t worry! Our friendly and helpful ticket office staff are here to take your booking. IN PERSON Monday – Saturday, 12noon – 4pm. On show days 12noon to curtain-up. Sunday, open on show days only, two hours before curtain-up. BY TELEPHONE Call 0845 075 3993 Our lines are open Monday–Saturday between 10am–6pm.

BOOKING FEES All bookings made via our website, by phone or in person are subject to a £1.50 per ticket booking fee (capped at six tickets per transaction). Some shows have a higher booking fee – please check individual show listings. Bookings of 10+ tickets are exempt from booking fees. Priority members do not pay a booking fee on tickets purchased. An additional postal charge of £2.00 per transaction is applicable, or you can print your tickets at home.

GROUP BOOKINGS If you are booking 10+ tickets,

please call our Group Sales Co-ordinator on 01923 474124. We are able to reserve tickets and hold payment for an agreed period. PAYMENT METHODS We accept major credit and

debit cards and cash. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Colosseum Theatre Watford Ltd’. CONCESSIONS Where offered, concession

ticket prices apply to those over 60 or under 16, unwaged or full-time students. Patrons with a disability pay the lowest ticket price available and if accompanied by a carer in receipt of a carer’s allowance, one free carer ticket is available. Proof of eligibility may be requested at the time of booking or at the performance. For full information contact the Ticket Office on 0845 075 3993. Sales are made subject to the ‘Terms and Conditions for The Sale Of Tickets, Gift Vouchers & Memberships’ as published at watfordcolosseum.co.uk/Online/ terms_conditions (copies are also available from the Ticket Office). Every attempt is made to ensure that show information and prices are correct at the time of going to print but may be subject to alteration. We reserve the right to offer discounts at a later date. Tickets prices subject to change in line with the prevailing VAT rate at the time of purchase

BABES IN ARMS Children under 18 months of age pay £1.00 on selected performances. For applicable performances please ask the Ticket Office at time of booking. Watford Colosseum retains the right to exclude babes in arms from certain performances. DATA PROTECTION Your contact details will be held so we can contact you in the event of a performance being cancelled and with your permission we will also contact you about our exciting forthcoming programme. a 15 minute walk away. There are direct trains from London Euston. The nearest underground station, on the Watford Metropolitan line, is a 10 minute walk away at Cassiobury Park Avenue. BY CAR Watford Colosseum is easily reached by car and is sign-posted on all local routes into Watford. PARKING Parking is available at several locations within a short walk of the venue. The Gade multi-storey car park, located on Rosslyn Road, WD18 0JX and The Avenue car park, located on Hempstead Road, WD17 4NR are both open 24 hours. The Town Hall car park, WD17 3EX, is open to the public from 4pm to midnight, Monday to Friday and from 7am to midnight, Saturday and Sunday.
