Coeur Du Bray Hearts
No, this Neufchâtel cheese is not the creamcheese-like product we see in American grocers. True French Neufchâtel is a soft, mold ripened cheese from the Normandy region of France. Similar to Camembert, it has the same dry, white, edible rind and mushroomy flavor, but it is saltier, sharper, and has a grainier texture. This difference in texture makes it drier and slightly crumbly.
