The 3Way snap-on intuitive hinge-to-plate mounting (top, front, and back) makes installation a breeze, especially on tall doors, as it significantly reduces the time and effort it takes to assemble a kitchen. The 50% reduction in assembly is possible by pre-inserting the Quickfit dowels and cams into the panel during factory production prior to shipping the cabinet. Consumers get all the connectors already fitted in the right place. All they have to do is to put two panels together and tighten the joint – it is as easy as that! After acquiring Simon Kinetics from Germany, Titus formed its own Kinetics division, now combining Kinetics expertise in sliding door soft closing with Titus' expertise in hydraulic damping. Here are some of the latest novelties for furniture and wardrobes. How to efficiently control sound and motion of wardrobe sliding doors? With Slidix Centro, a particularly unique solution from Titus widely used to control the motion and centering of middle doors in the composition of three or more sliding doors. Its integrated part are Titus hydraulic dampers which assure reliable soft closing in both directions, consistent performance at any closing speed and a smoother soft closing with reduced re-bounce. It also reduces the pull-open force assuring the door opening is easy and comfortable. Slidix Centro can be easily finetuned to specific requirements of customer's sliding system depending on weight, friction, and speed. Slidix Centro has a compact design which can accommodate dampers of various forces and offers optimal soft closing on doors from 15 to 40kg. Besides that, for manufacturers, the damper's compact size means less impact on their design and minimal need for adaptation of their wardrobes.
TEKFORM SLIMLINE TACTO – EFFORTLESS TOUCH OPENING SYSTEM ON DRAWERS
Titus Tekform Slimline thin wall drawer is now upgraded with Tacto touch opening system for effortless opening of handleless drawer fonts. Tacto mechanism follows the 'One-for-All' principle, meaning that one item provides push-open feature to various product variants. Tekform Slimline Tacto has the activator integrated into the drawer runner, while all other components remain the same as for the 'standard' Slimline version, as do drilling and fixing positions. This feature makes the installation simple and precise. The simplicity to mount is further supported by a non-handed Tacto mechanism that is intuitively placed into the correct position without the need of predrilling. The Tacto mechanism when operated is sensitive enough to provide narrow, only 1.5mm operating gap. Intuitive adjustment allows precise and uniform gap layout that goes well with other Titus’ touch opening solutions. Tekform Slimline Tacto is a good example of an exciting new solution for customers stemming from the merger of Titus and Kinetics expertise in damping and push to open solutions.
Another innovative solution related to sliding doors is Titus PushPlus system which combines push-to-open and damping function in one mechanism. Typically it can be used on a pocket sliding door, which in a fully open position stops slightly before the wall hole, protruding and obstructing the area available for moving. PushPlus system allows the door to be without a handle and to retreat entirely into the wall. To close, you activate it with a push. For maximum comfort, safety, and silence in use, the same system also provides damping in the opening direction. While its advantages proved particularly useful in pocket sliding doors, they can be exploited in other home applications like pantry units and other sliding systems where handles are not wanted for aesthetical reasons. The compact design is based on a modular approach, meaning that with minor modifications and combination of standard components we can adapt to the specific requirements of customers and applications.
