End of round one! Starting round two with the start of July; summer is here! I really cannot complain, the number of visitors on our website is increasing and readers are collecting our monthly magazine at a speed of never before! In a way this recession has made people recognise the value and usefulness of Web Express Guide on the Costa del Sol for both consumers as well as advertisers. It stands to reason! We are probably the oldest and most established media on the Costa del Sol acting as a “Portal” and also printed as a magazine. In fact the ONLY “Portazine”© anywhere! And you know what? Yes it’s important to earn a living, but it’s not just the money, we genuinely try to serve our readers as well as advertisers and we enjoy it. So come on the rest of the year! We are well ready for you!

Do not forget to see us online. www.webexpressguide.com Please send any comments to editor@webexpressguide.com
Es lógico! Somos probablemente los medios más antiguos y de mayor prestigio en la Costa del Sol que actúan como un “Portal” que también se imprime como revista. De hecho, el único “Portazine” © en cualquier lugar!
Or express your own view at the end of each article online. PLEASE TELL ADVERTISERS YOU HAVE SEEN THEM IN WEB EXPRESS GUIDE. THANK YOU. Your own personal hard copy can be posted to you for €20 per year. You may now download a free copy of the magazine from our website at www.webexpressguide.com

In my opinion
THE UGLY SIDE OF The Beautiful Game
By the Count De La Perrelle
The other day I was enjoying a cup of coffee with friends and inadvertently overheard a rather tasteless conversation from a group of people sitting at the next table to us. They were discussing the rather publicised racism that is surrounding the UEFA European Championship football that is so high profile in the news at the moment. This tournament had been marred by racism even before it started. There have been violent incidents at recent club matches in the Ukraine and even in the host city Kharkiv. The media I feel, have fuelled the fire as well by incessantly publicising the fact and sometimes taking more time to tell us about the negative aspects of the situation and missing the point that the vast majority of fans are not racist and just want to enjoy a great tournament and support their respective countries and teams. All sorts of people and families are healthily passionate about football. Whilst football may not be my preferred choice of sport (I prefer Rugby) I do appreciate and enjoy watching a good game, especially when some excellent tactics and skill are involved. The European football governing body UEFA has vowed to crack down on racism at the championships. It will be interesting to see just how they intend to go about this as players have continued to face abuses from racist fans. Dutch players have been subjected to monkey chants in an open training session in Krakow, Poland. Italy forward Mario Balotelli, was reportedly the subject of racist abuse during his side`s 1-1 draw against the current European and World 8
www.webexpressguide.com
In my opinion
champions Spain. Czech full-back Theodor Gebre Selassie has claimed he had “noticed” some racist chanting aimed towards him during their 4-1 loss against Russia. For goodness sake, is it not time we dropped these outdated attitudes and stopped acting like spoilt children and just grew up. Why do some people have such outdated beliefs or doctrines that they cannot understand the differences among the various human races? We do not have the right to determine other peoples cultural or individual choices and we certainly do not have the right to think that one’s own race is superior or has the right to rule others. I find it embarrassing that such a dreadful phenomenon has any place in football or anywhere else for that matter. Let’s face it racism is not just a problem in football but of many societies and most of humanity. What is wrong with these intolerant, prejudiced, people? Surely anyone with a modicum of intelligence would realise that racism is abhorrent at any time and especially in the 21st century. We are all in this world together and to insult a fellow human being regarding their colour, race, creed or sexual orientation is an anathema to me. Also spoiling the enjoyment of the ‘beautiful game’ by outdated and outmoded attitudes is a crime beyond my comprehension. Like many others I suspect, I can remember years ago in the UK the problems we had with football hooligans. I can remember the Towns and Cities that I lived and worked in at the time, boarding up their shops and offices if there was to be a football match with the main team at the weekend. The many times we had the streets and shopping areas closed off on a Saturday afternoon and evening. Then in the aftermath of the daytime fracas the
evenings were then spoilt by groups of intoxicated thugs wandering the streets causing all sorts of commotion and inconvenience. Is it not time that we took a fresh look at ourselves and ask, whilst there is so much trouble and strife in the world right now and so many people are dying and suffering such horrendous abhorrent, appalling and atrocious situations, what race someone is should not be a problem to anyone. The relationship between ‘race’ and football has been known to take many forms. Fans have used the Saturday afternoon football matches to air their racial and other prejudices but it is now recognised that this minority of bigoted fans is only part of the problem. It is important that members of minority groups should also become involved in football as players, coaches or spectators and not feel in the least excluded. I hope that the various football Associations and Sport in general will sort out this problem once and for all. This will enable individuals and families who are passionate about football and sport to enjoy the thrill and excitement of watching their team or sportsperson compete. The UK was the first country to make a concerted effort to rid the game of racism, at least in its most obvious forms, with the founding of the ‘Let’s Kick Racism out of Football’ campaign in 1993, followed two years later by the launch of ‘Show Racism the Red Card’ in the north-east of England, and the Football Unites, Racism Divides project in Sheffield. FURD is now centrally involved in international campaigns against racism in football, through the Football Against Racism in Europe (FARE) network. Let us all hope that their efforts pay off.

The Quiz Who am I?
recipe
Spanish Tropical Salad recipe
I was born in 1959 in Wiesbaden. My family moved to Queens, New York where I first became interested in my chosen career. At an very early age I exhibited unusually developed eye-hand co-ordination and athletic ability. I graduated from high school in 1977 and was given an opportunity to play my chosen sport in Europe. That autumn, I attended Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, on a scholarship. I led the school team to the Championship in 1978.After my freshman year I decided to turn pro. After decisive victories in 1979, my playing style matured. It was an interesting contrast to the machine-gun like attacks of other professionals at the time. I used finesse to keep my opponents off guard. My serve did not overpower, but I had extremely quick reflexes and an uncanny court sense, I seemed to know instinctively where to place my shots. In 1986, I took a sabbatical, married a famous actress, my girlfriend of two years and retreated to my California home. Unlike many top players, my sport was not the end-all-be-all for me. I have always enjoyed a wide range of activities. I am an avid rock fan and guitar player, I occasionally play at charity events. My interest in art led me to open my Art Gallery in New York City which features up-and-coming young artists. Who am I? ENSALADA TROPICAL How about this for a local recipe which actually originates from the provinces of Granada and Malaga using wonderful tropical produce.
Ingredients: • • • • • • •
1 mango 1 Kiwi 1Avocado 3 anchovies, rinsed if tinned 1 apple 2 slices of smoked salmon 1 piece of fresh soft cheese,
• • • • •
like Mozzarella Miel de caña (Sugar cane honey) ½ cup olive oil ¼ cup vinegar Salt to taste Spanish sweet paprika or cinnamon for decoration
Preparation: Serves 4-6. Peel all fruit, then slice as indicated below. Slice the mango at the widest part of the fruit, into 6-8 slices. Slice the kiwi about a ¼ inch thick. Cut the apple into ¼ inch slices. Slice the avocado in half lengthwise, then peal it and slice lengthwise into1/8 inch pieces and open into a fan. Keep a slice of each fruit to make the vinaigrette. Cut the cheese into small slices to place on the salad or around the platter Slice the anchovies into 2-3 pieces each and the smoked salmon into several pieces. Make the pieces small enough for people to help themselves. Place the reserved fruit into a food processor, add olive oil, vinegar and a pinch of salt to taste. It should be about the consistency of canned tomato sauce. Place the mango in the centre and the rest of the fruit and cheese around. Put the pieces of salmon and anchovies on top. Finally, top with the slices of mango. Drizzle the vinaigrette over the salad and the plate www.webexpressguide.com

COCOMO What do you get when a well known and experienced UK chef moves to Spain? The answer is obvious; you get a well sought after restaurant where booking becomes essential. This is exactly what happened when Simon Taylor-Lane, after working alongside many great chefs, the likes of Marco Pierre White and restaurants such as the Savoy, decided to make a change and in restaurants bring his expertise to the Costa del Sol. Cocomo, his restaurant/bar, is an oasis within an oasis alongside the main N340 just at the side of the Estepona Crowne Plaza Hotel. The decked terrace, the fountains, the mosaics, the water ant the stylish chill out sofas are impressive and although they may give the false impression that you may not be able to afford to eat at the restaurant, you could not be more mistaken; as a matter of fact the set menu at ₏13.95 would soon adjust your perspective. The restaurant inside is classy, contemporary and most attractive and the service is attentive and most welcoming, yet not intrusive. If you are thinking of a menu consisting of one or two choices, think again for there is plenty to choose from in both starters and main courses and if you have any special requirement, Simon will do his best to oblige. One thing is also certain, each course is beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. As you would expect, the wine list is just as exquisite and unique as the cuisine, to include some merlots, however you will not be disappointed with the house wine which is intended to mirror the quality of the whole ambiance. If after all this you can manage a dessert you will find that the bill is unbelievable good value when it is painstakingly obvious that nothing but the best and freshest ingredients have been used to prepare your meal. It may be worth mentioning that Simon prepares a traditional Sunday family luncheon every Sunday, bearing in mind that the children’s play area is open between May and October. Cocomo is a restaurant that can be recommended without the slightest hesitation; quite frankly ... it just can’t be missed! 12

Evviva l’Italia Enough with copycats
We all know how popular Italian food is, especially pizza, however I find it most annoying when visiting a restaurant or pizzeria that seem to take advantage of the fact that, being outside Italy, they assume the consumer does not quite know what the real taste of Italian food is like. This is probably because they actually do not know themselves or do not use original ingredients or just take short cuts in the preparation. Having been brought up with food like mama makes, I find this quite offensive and deceptive because if the clients are not familiar with the real taste they will be subjected to an experience an experience that might put them off this type of food all together. Why don’t people stick to what they know? For instance I am a great lover of pizza, but when I say pizza I mean pizza done, looking and tasting as intended; I mean real pizza not some of these cheap imitations that you find just about everywhere all over the Costa. There are far too many copycats who spoil the market for everyone else and at the same time deceive consumers into thinking that what they are eating is actually pizza. It is difficult to explain what a real pizza should look like, it is not a perfect round object because it is made by hand but I can’t even begin to describe the taste and the aroma. There are only a few places on the Costa where I have eaten a pizza as close to the original as I know, although not baked in a brick oven: In Estepona & Estepona Laguna Village: La Pappardella In Sotogrande: La Dolce Vita In Guadalmina Alta: Da Mario San Pêdro: Fantasia Paseo Sabinillas: Al Solito Posto Of course there may be others that I am not aware of, although I have tried quite a number especially in my vicinity. You do not go to a Moroccan restaurant for a traditional Sunday dinner, so why go to a fish & chips shop to eat pasta & pizza? What is the point of that? 14

When you walk into the Papardella in Estepona, the first thing that hits you is the atmosphere, you just know that it is an upmarket Italian Restaurant offering some well presented real Italian cuisine. This is the same of any Italian restaurant; they may appear to be different on the surface but they are all run by Italians who take the trouble to place some genuine food on your table. At Dolce Vita in Torreguadiaro, the manager cannot offer enough Southern Italy hospitality. He spoils his clients. Da Mario in San Pedro looks just like a genuine Neapolitan trattoria and when it comes to hospitality you will find that Mario will make because when clients feel at home they will be back They all have one thing in common, they offer a genuine service that creates regular clients because you will go back when you feel at home. What is even most important is that they offer you Italian food as it should be and as it should taste with a flair for presentation and prices that anyone can afford.

Evening wear for the plus size women As much as we would like it, the hourglass figure is not always possible for every woman. Women’s bodies undergo so many changes throughout life and the only constant is the wish to look beautiful forever. Women with plus size should choose carefully especially when it comes to evening dresses. It is important for women to dress their age. If you tend to wear clothes that are made for a younger woman then the outfit can look rather odd if it does not suit your age or suit your personality. Do try to choose the correct outfit that compliments your age. Dark colours can of course make you appear slimmer. Dark colours also hide the ‘extra bits’ effectively which can create an illusion of a thinner body type. Light colours can tend to highlight your size and can affect the overall look. It is a good idea to choose the textures and designs that make tend to make you look slimmer. For example, small designs instead of big prints can make you look delicate and also an outfit made from thin and flaring fabrics instead of thick and stiff fabrics can make you appear much slimmer. 20

HEALTH & BEAUTY
Food Hygiene Now that summer is here good food hygiene is even more important. This extract is taken from Bupa International health information. Full fact sheets and binder are available from STM Nummos Life (see our ad on page 25)
Why is food hygiene important?
Preparing
Every day people get ill from the food they eat. Microorganisms including bacteria, viruses and moulds found in food can cause food poisoning, leading to a whole host of unpleasant symptoms, such as stomach pains, diarrhoea and vomiting.
Don’t handle food if you have stomach problems such as diarrhoea or vomiting, or if you’re sneezing or coughing regularly.
Food poisoning can sometimes lead to gastroenteritis or more serious health problems such as blood poisoning (septicemia) and kidney failure. Babies, children and older people, are more likely to have serious symptoms. It’s important to eat healthily if you’re pregnant, and you need to be particularly careful not to get food poisoning.
Check the food labels before you decide what to use. Don’t use any foods that have passed their use-by date, even if you think they look fine, however, you can use food after its best before date. The exception is eggs, which contain Salmonella that may multiply after the best before date, always throw them away once this date has passed.
Bear in mind a few simple points to help avoid food poisoning for you and your family.
Always use different chopping boards and utensils to prepare raw meat or fish, as they contain harmful bacteria that can spread to anything they touch.
Storing • Always check labels for guidance on where to store food. • Make sure you keep your fridge at less than 5°C and your freezer at less than -18°C – this prevents bacteria from multiplying. • Store fresh and frozen food in the fridge or freezer as soon as possible after you have bought it. This is especially important if the weather is hot. • Keep raw meat and seafood separate from other foods in airtight containers at the bottom of the fridge to prevent juices or blood dripping onto other food. • Don’t store opened tins of food in the fridge – transfer the contents to a suitable airtight container instead. • Allow cooked leftovers to cool to room temperature before storing in the fridge. Make sure you use up any leftovers within two days. 24
• Throw away any food that has passed its use-by date.
www.webexpressguide.com
Cooking Cooking food at temperatures over 70°C will kill off any bacteria. If food isn’t cooked at a high enough temperature, bacteria can still survive. • Follow the recipe or packet instructions for cooking time and temperature, making sure that you pre-heat your oven properly. • Food should be piping hot – you should be able to see steam coming out – before you serve it. • Take special care that you cook meat all the way through. Unless you’re cooking steak or lamb and beef joints rare, it shouldn’t be pink in the middle. Always re-heat pre-cooked food thoroughly and only do so once. • When cooking food in the microwave, stir it well from time to time to ensure that it’s evenly cooked all the way through.

Look
on the bright side. During the past few months there have been many articles in various English publication that have tended to run down the Costa del Sol. To be frank they are not telling lies but they do tend to put an unwarranted dampener on things for the genuine people who live and work here. We are all aware of the crisis and the after effects of all that has happened in the financial world over the past few years but to run down the Costa del Sol is self defeating. We know that in general things are not as good at the moment as we would have liked .But where else are they? So let’s take a moment to look at some of the plus sides. The Costa del Sol is still as appealing for many reasons. For example it has one of the largest number of expats in the world and to be frank there is a very good reason for that. Let’s look at some more reasons to be happy about the Costa del Sol after all so much of this is about personal priorities and preferences. The location of the Costa del Sol is only two and a half hours from most other European Cities. The winters here can be some of the warmest in Europe and it is always a pleasure to walk along the beach in December. You can be in the countryside within minutes and a picnic or a trek into the campo is a great way to enjoy the clean air. Always appealing to those fed up with clouds and rain, are the all year round sun and warm weather. On average we have 320 days of sunshine each year. During winter, temperatures 26
www.webexpressguide.com
regularly rise above 20 degrees (Celsius). For those who live here full or part time then the standard of living is really quite good compared to the rest of Europe. There are many international schools and colleges for all ages and a healthy way of life can be had by any youngster. There is a civilized standard of living here at a reasonable cost and it is a fairly safe place to live. Many international supermarkets offer food and treats from home and the quality of local foods is very good. The medical care is good here with easy access to the medical centres and quite often there is a translator in the centre to help with appointments etc. For an evening out then do try a Spanish restaurant perhaps slightly away from the coast and you will find prices very reasonable and the staff usually very friendly. Often there is a traditional Spanish cabaret to enjoy as well. In general property prices along
main feature
the coast are dropping again, after the boom a few years ago finding a secure home for the family is not quite so expensive as it was with many bargains to be had whether renting or buying and with some property around 50% of the price reduced. Also attractive to many expatriates is that English is widely spoken and you will find that many of the banks, shops, restaurants and health centres along the Costa del Sol are staffed by bi-lingual employees. The Spanish people in general rather appreciate it when you try to speak their language and there is always the chance that you will get the odd free Spanish lesson from a Local resident or neighbour. Watching children enjoy the Spanish way of life can be rewarding in itself and they will soon leave Mum and Dad behind when it comes to learning the language. The Costa del Sol is certainly expanding as people begin to move further inland. The Road networks have been much improved and are increasing in many areas which is making the inland areas much more accessible to the coast and to the main airports. Just a twenty minute drive from the coast will bring such a different outlook to Costa life, where the grand country houses and small fincas stand side by side with
each other in the vast areas of agricultural land. So listen everyone, keep your chin up and look for the positives in life on the Costa del Sol. We can always moan and be grumpy but if we can’t do anything about it then it is just a waste of energy. If you really get a bit homesick then a day in Gibraltar is not an obstacle. Family and friends can visit often and trips back home are fairly easy to arrange. There is more of an outdoor social lifestyle than is possible in wetter countries and the 161 kilometres of Mediterranean coast stretching from Gibraltar to Nerja are lined with beach bars, cafÊs and restaurants, where sitting outside over a daily coffee with friends is part of a way of life. So always look on the bright side of life

There is no doubt that Sabinillas has now become one of the favourite holiday resorts for many of all nationalities. The nice beach, the long, large promenade lined with shops and restaurants at prices more reasonable than elsewhere are a definite attraction. The success and popularity shown during the night of San Juan speak for themselves. Of course all this make a difficult choice if you don’t know the area, however PALMS is without a doubt one of the spots you cannot miss for its services and extremely reasonable prices they offer for snacks, burgers, chips, salads, hot dogs, omelettes, children meals and drinks of all sorts. They have recently extended their service on to the beach with deck chairs and parasols so that you may consume your refreshments right by the sea where it’s cooler. Of course it’s easy to find just stroll along the promenade by the beach and look out for the sign, you cannot miss it!!

BUSINESS & MONEY
Is your fund manager an Olympian?
He will need to be!
By Richard Alexander Dip. PFS
A recurring theme that I experience at the moment is people contacting me who are concerned about investments they have made or contracts that they have entered into where their return expectations are simply not following through in reality. The financial pressure remains fully on in the Euro zone as we know and with Spain’s Bankia announcing late last month that it needs 19bn Euros in State support to keep going, this is just one more sign that the problems persist. If you are one of the many people who are looking for better returns on your capital or need to be certain of income, you will know all too well that this can be an uphill struggle. In the current markets and looking to the future, to achieve better long term results and to see sustainable income which can increase over time, many fund managers now are looking towards diversified investments over managed portfolios as opposed to the more traditional approach of selecting a single asset class like Bonds, Property or Equities. Whilst quality bonds can provide stability of capital values, they achieve little in terms of income growth. Conversely, high yield bonds and equities which might offer an increasing income, come at the cost of sacrificing capital security. To achieve sustainable income will need the combined strength of property rental income, equity dividends and bond coupons from a suitably structured global portfolio with a long term view. It is fair to say, the more you have available to invest, the better spread you can achieve but not everyone has the benefit of this luxury and for some, it may just be too complex to be comfortable with. In Olympic terms, investments need to be good marathon performers as opposed to a short sprinter; so as we look forward to the 30th Modern Olympic Games and in an effort to try to find a practical alternative, I thought I might just extend an offer exclusively to Web Express Guide readers that might prove a worthy
contender for the long distance challenges ahead. If you have capital to invest of at least 25,000 Euros or £20,000 and would like a return which has a track record of achieving 5% pa plus, (net of charges), from one of the biggest household names in the financial services sector and which is specifically designed to be tax efficient for British expats who are tax resident in Spain, then here is my offer. Send an email to info@ra-fp.com and quote the subject as “Olympic Offer” to receive further information about this investment opportunity and to see if it might be right for you. We will monitor the first 30 enquiries received and for any of those which lead to the enquirer becoming a client, we will make a donation of 60 Euros to a charity of their choice and will publish on our website, all the charities that benefit as a result. (This offer only applies to the first 30 enquiries received before midnight on 13045 RAFP Web Express Magazine Ad REV_RAFP 06/07/2011 30th August 2012.)
No Just jargon. sound advice! If you don't already receive up to 8% pa income from low risk investments, you could! To find out how, contact us today.

I
prickly pair
Don’t get me wrong, I think Facebook is great. Handy for keeping in touch with family and friends, especially in faraway places, but if you look down your list of friends, most of them are other people’s friends. Well that’s verging on sad, no, actually that is sad in a lonely kind of way but maybe it’s good in that at least you have somebody to chat to or thousands of people to chat to, so when somebody boasts they have over a thousand friends, I secretly think that the higher the number is, the lonelier the person. By the way, if your messages are from groups, associations or causes don’t get excited because the same message is sent to all the members or friends you joined. Enough said! Then there is the popular “like” button; you know, hit like if you have lost somebody close to you blah, blah? Well I tried it, but no, great aunt Bessie is still dead. I won’t fall for that one again. What about the “I love my boyfriend, girlfriend, hubby, Mrs. etc ,etc.?” Whom are you trying to prove it to? Yourself or the people that say he-she is a loser? A sort of “well I love him anyway, so there”. Right? This is closely followed by the trouble with menwomen jokes; the ones I see are normally posted by men or women who don’t have partners, you know the type that would love to have one, whatever sex he/she might be. Hey! What about those who invite you to join in games? You know the ones; they like to do tasks to 30
www.webexpressguide.com
earn points or money. Here’s the thing, I already play this every day, it’s called a job, I do the tasks and earn real money, but I do have to actually leave my home. And by the way it’s no fun and certainly not a game. Beware keyboard warriors! Games on computers are not real, you did not slay a dragon, or save New York, or wrestle your way to victory. Do not go out of your front door with your superior attitude, as you will probably have the s..t kicked out of you within two minutes, in a most un-gamely fashion. Learn the difference between real and reality dude! We all like funny posts, don’t we? As we love ugly dogs, but please, although all mothers think their own babies are lovely, we don’t need ugly babies, not to say that photos can’t be shared with family; but do I really have to see them?
We all love to see funny cats, but when I see post after post of boring women posing with their pussies, it’s just... well, boring. It’s not funny or amusing and does not brighten my day in any way. Fat people, really fat and doing funny things or with funny captions great! It’s wicked but great at the same time. Some old hag past her sell by date, in a bikini is disgusting. Yak! Cover up or at least let me know where you got your magic mirror from. If you really want to play games on Facebook, look for a cyber bully and have a go; no need to be rude or aggressive, but really sarcastic. If you can make them feel 2 inches high, you win; if you can get at least 10 others to join you, then you get extra points and if they give up first, victory shall be yours. Simple, it sort of stops bullying en masse, remember cyber bullies normally choose one person. Can they handle 100 cyber protectors and not look like a t..t? NO! They normally give in after a few days of public belittling. Now that’s what I call play! Till next month just face up to it.

Family mystery Based on the novel by author Jonathan Safran Foer, director Stephen Daldry’s post-9/11 drama follows the journey of a nine-year-old boy as he attempts to solve a family mystery. Two years after his father (Tom Hanks) is killed in the September 11th terrorist attacks, the curious boy discovers a mysterious key hidden in a household vase and begins an exhaustive search for the matching lock which takes him all around New York and meets many interesting people along the way.
J. Edgar Director: Clint Eastwood Starring: Leonardo DiCaprio, Josh Lucas, Judi Dench, and Stephen Root. Historical Drama Acclaimed actor Leonardo DiCaprio stars in Academy Award-winning director Clint Eastwood’s richly detailed biopic exploring the life and career of controversial FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover. For nearly 50 years, Hoover (DiCaprio) fought crime as one of the most powerful law enforcers in America. During Hoover’s extended stint as Director of the FBI, however, his penchant for bending the law in the name of seeking justice and using the secrets of high profile leaders to gain personal leverage won him just as many supporters as detractors. Little did many other than his loyal colleague Clyde Tolson (Armie Hammer) and faithful secretary Helen Gandy (Naomi Watts) know, however, that Hoover himself was a man with many secrets to hide. Josh Lucas, Judi Dench, and Stephen Root co-star in film written by Oscar-winning Milk scribe Dustin Lance Black.
Sherlock Holmes “A Game of Shadows” Directed by Guy Ritchie Starring: Stephen Fry, Jude Law, Rachel McAdams, Robert Downey Jr, Eddie Marsan, Jared Harris, Noomi Rapace Action and Adventure Robert Downey Jr. reprises his role as the world’s most famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, and Jude Law returns as his formidable colleague, Dr. Watson, in “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.” Sherlock Holmes has always been the smartest man in the room...until now. There is a new criminal mastermind at large--Professor Moriarty (Jared Harris)--and not only is he Holmes’ intellectual equal, but his capacity for evil, coupled with a complete lack of conscience, may actually give him an advantage over the renowned detective.

LĂnea Directa reports: HOW TO COMPLETE AN ACCIDENT REPORT FORM This document is essential for determining who is responsible for a traffic accident, which has a direct effect on the price that customers pay when renewing their insurance.
What is an accident report form? An accident report form is a document which outlines the circumstances which have occurred in a car accident. In addition to the personal details of the drivers and their vehicles, the document includes a jointly agreed description of the manoeuvres carried out by the drivers when the accident took place, which plays a key role in determining who is responsible for a traffic accident.
How should it be completed? LĂnea Directa offers the following advice to complete the form:
1. Columns A and B (blue and yellow), are for the personal details of the drivers and their vehicles. 2. In section 12, (Circumstances) the numbered column on the left describes the manoeuvres of car A and the one on the right those of car B. If you are unsure which box to mark, leave it blank. Make a drawing of the accident in section 13 indicating the manoeuvre of each car. 3. If anybody has been injured or if you think they might have been injured, complete section 24. 4. If there is more than one car involved in the accident, also complete section 23, on the reverse side of the form, and include it in the sketch. 5. Sign the form and keep a copy.

HoroscopeS Your future as foretold by the Sabinillas gipsy GEMINI
(May 21-June 21)
Expect to spend a lot of time in the company of others, perhaps running from one social event to another. At least one could end up being helpful to your professional life. A lot of stimulating conversation could take place today, Gemini, perhaps giving you clues to opportunities or trends that you want to follow. Relations with others should be jovial, congenial, and supportive.
CANCER
(June 22-July 22)
Looked at from the outside, things seem to stagnate during July 2012. If so or not, you’re the only one who can tell. Everything will happen either inside, or far from the others’ eyes. Your inner sentimental life might be intense and troubled, but impossible to show, or you might love somebody secretly, or be somehow sentimentally addicted.
LEO
(July 23-August 22)
Don’t expect burning passion or exaggerate romanticism. Expect flirts, easy affairs or initiative based on curiosity and conspiracy. Everything has to be free, joyful and flexible. The factor that will appeal, put together and bring harmony is communication. In June 2012, the most efficient aphrodisiac will be released by the brain. The sexual impulse exists, of course, and it’ll be quite strong.
VIRGO
(August 23-September 22)
The first decanate of June 2012 will be much the same as the last part of the previous month: focused, intense, warm, sometimes troubled, with notes that will connect the relationship to foreign countries or to cultural-spiritual desires. Starting the second decanate in June 2012, although the relational interests are still valid, things will start becoming unclear.
LIBRA
(September 23-October 22)
The ruler of your house of couples, Mars, will be in the last phase of a cycle begun in November last year, which will end on July 3rd 2012. Thus, June 2012 foreshadows to bring clarification and conclusions, and to help you build the foundation of future decisions. This is backed up by another fact: Venus, Libra’s ruler, will be retrograde, which makes June 2012 rather complicated.
SCORPIO (October 23-November 21)
With the ruler of your house of couples retrograde in a “darker” area of the horoscope, you’ll probably be very worried about love or marriage in June 2012.Things might develop in an unusual direction or move very slowly. Some blocks are not excluded, neither are some possible obstacles that will come from the outside, without involving any of the partners.
36

SAGITTARIUS
(November 22 - December 21)
Expect a dynamic month, rich in events! It’s hard to say how happy June 2012 will be. Astrologically, there are premises for fulfilment, but for troubles, also. The first decanate of the month, at least, foreshadows to be rather hectic and it shouldn’t surprise you if a conflict is born against this turbulent background.
CAPRICORN
(December 22 - January 19)
With Mercury in your house of couples, life together needs flexibility, communication and cooperation, maybe even new shared experiences. If you’re looking for a partner, the kind of person you’re attracted to now is the adolescent, cheerful and at least reasonably intelligent type
AQUARIUS ( January 20-February 18)
Love and sexuality seem to be the hottest topics in June 2012. The interest they arise is stimulated by the Sun, Venus and, after June 11th, by Jupiter. The Sun will bring a lot of energy in this area and it’ll draw attention to it, making it shine with light and passion. Venus, precisely the planet of love, has already been for some time in your house of love and eroticism.
PISCES
(February 19-March 20)
Mars will still be in your house of couples, channelling a lot of energy towards the relational area which is still exciting, motivating, but can be rather turbulent as well, especially in the first decanate of June 2012. In spite of the restless climate, you’ll approach things intelligently and rationally.
ARIES
(March 21-April 19)
This month you might take or arrange a trip, Aries, perhaps a long-distance vacation. This may have been planned in advance, but it could just as easily be spur of the moment. You’re in the position where you feel secure enough financially and established enough in your working life to cut yourself a little slack and make time for enjoyment.
TAURUS
(April 20-May 20)
Some interesting insights could steer you in the right direction regarding a goal you’ve been working toward for a long time. You generally prefer logic to ESP, but today your intuition is so strong that it’s difficult to resist. You could also feel a burst of physical energy that spurs you on to do whatever needs to be done. Don’t worry about what’s rational. Follow your heart.
VIRTUAL HUMOUR
I was driving this morning when I saw an RAC van parked up. The driver was sobbing uncontrollably and looked very miserable. I thought to myself ˜that guy is heading for a breakdown”. I haven’t spoken to my wife in years, didn’t want to interrupt her.
My girlfriend said she wanted me to tease her, so I said “Alright, fatty.” My Dad used to say ‘always fight fire with fire’, which is probably why he got thrown out of the fire brigade. A woman went to the Doctor and said “When I looked in the mirror this morning, I saw my hair was frizzy, my skin wrinkly, my eyes bloodshot – what is wrong with me?” The Doctor replied “Well the good news is that your eyesight is fine”. Women might be able to fake orgasms. But men can fake a whole relationship. Patient to his friend: The nurse in this hospital is really wonderful. She touched me and my fever got cured immediately. Friend: Yeah, I could hear her touch your cheek in the next room. Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit; Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad. An Irish farmer sees a welsh farmer carrying 2 sheep under his arms, and asks, “are you gonna shear them? .”No”.says the Welshman.. .”they’re both for me”.
