The experience The flamenco show consists of around two hours of an intense and awesome flamenco performance. Musical instruments such as the piano, sax, trombone, vocals and guitars are mixed with the passion of the dance and the flamenco soul. The performance is divided into some thematic parts separated by breaks so that attendees can feel the flamenco experience at the same time that they enjoy a typical southern Spanish dinner. Our cuisine merges tradition and avant-garde with the integration of products from the local region. At the beginning of the show, attendees are given a bottle of ‘manzanilla’ as one of the most popular wines of Andalusia. Besides, customers have the choice to order additional drinks or portions of the offered menu. 2

Where? The flamenco show takes place in a traditional Andalusian “caseta” with capacity to receive up to 200 guests and located in the Estepona Fairgrounds in the province of Malaga. A stage of more than 30m² is the main part of the facilities formed by 11 first-rate artists.

When? The weekly show takes place every Friday of the year at 21:00. It is also possible to organize special sessions any day of the week for groups over 50 persons. In such case, the schedule of the show could be adapted depending of the request of the group.

1. Combine oil, garlic and crushed red pepper in a small skillet over low heat. Cook, stirring often, until the garlic is softened and light golden, 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat; let cool for 5 minutes. Stir in breadcrumbs, Parmesan, thyme, lemon zest and salt.

2. Preheat grill to very high (at least 500°F). Oil the grill grates, using tongs to hold an oilsoaked paper towel. Place zucchini, cut-sides down, on the oiled grates; grill, uncovered, until tender-crisp, about 5 minutes per side. Flip the zucchini so they are cut-side up; spoon the breadcrumbs mixture evenly on top. 3. Grill, covered, until the topping is golden brown in spots, 2 to 3 minutes. 4. There are many false beliefs around this topic. At HC Fertility Centre we believe it is essential to dispel myths and the main pre-existing doubts that couples have while trying for a pregnancy. • Trying on day 14 after menstruation is enough: FALSE

The best time is to have relationships between three days before and the day of ovulation. To know which day that is, you must look at the usual duration of menstrual cycles. If the cycle is 28 days, ovulation is likely to occur on the 14th day of the cycle, but if it is 27, the 13th. This is not always accurate, so it is best not to restrict the attempt to a single day. ALZHEIMER OR DEMENTIA?

here is a difference between Dementia and Alzheimer. I have seen both cases afflicting two persons dear to me.

They do not seem to cause any suffering to the afflicted who appear to be oblivious of the fact but it certainly is most distressing and upsetting for the rest of the family, even though the afflicted may be of very advanced age. The most likely cause of dementia is age, it happens when certain brain cells get damaged through age, however this type of damage can also be caused by infections, HIV, vascular diseases, stroke, depression, or chronic drug use.

MY OPINION

The person I know is certainly not a drug user but she is in her 90â&#x20AC;&#x2122;s, nevertheless it is most distressing to see a very sharp brain not able to recognise her closest friend.

The following are possible early signs:

Dementia is progressive and forgetfulness and confusion grow, causing difficulty in tracking time and even recognising familiar settings, which can cause them to act aggressively or even sink into depression. In the very advanced stages, people with dementia become unable to care for themselves. Depending on the cause, treatment of dementia can help and the conditions most likely to respond are those caused by drugs, tumours, metabolic disorders and hypoglycaemia. Unfortunately in most cases it is irreversible. While scientists are still trying to figure out the reason for Dementia, which can happen at any age, it may be worth knowing some of the early symptoms. However it should not be assumed that the experiencing memory problems is a conclusion of Dementia. A person needs to have at least two types of impairments that significantly interfere with everyday life to receive a dementia diagnosis.

Alzheimer on the other hand is a terminal illness for which there is no known cure at present. It is what reduced my father, an extremely intelligent person who spoke fluently 7 different languages, to act as a 6 year old child. Heartbreaking!!

Alzheimer is part of the different branches and types that come under the heading of Dementia but quite different although the symptoms are very similar indeed.

According to the National Institutes of Health, it is estimated that more than 5 million people in the United States have Alzheimer’s disease. Although younger people can and do get Alzheimer’s, the symptoms generally begin after age 60.

On a happier note, scientists are in the process of developing a compound to treat stroke survivors that might help stave off Alzheimer.

The time from diagnosis to death can be as little as three years in people over 80 years old. It can be much longer in younger patients.

Children awards for best painting at Sotogrande Port

We are pleased to have been able to bring to fruition the conclusion of the workshops financed with the aid of the Rotary Foundation. The workshops included the visit to the cheese farm in Sierra Crestellina and to the Orchidarium in Estepona. The objective was to make children aware of the importance of the environment in our daily life. A number of children from the Colegio Alemán de Málaga (Elviria, Ojen) submitted some rather impressive artistic creations to be judged and awarded prizes on Saturday the 15th June at the Maite & Osvaldo Lobalzo Art Gallery in Puerto Sotogrande. All children received a medal for taking part and for their catching enthusiasm. The event was very successful and attended by more than 150 people between children, parents, teachers, Rotarians and visitors. 42
