Coverage is big and that could be through a jewel neckline, cap sleeve, straps added to the dress or elbow length sleeves. In fact, sleeves as a whole are coming back and in a big way.

Natural waists will be popular. Drop waists were in vogue but now, gowns are sitting just below the natural waist.

We?re also seeing fuller, softer skirts that can be made even more voluminous if the bride wants.

We used to see wide cummerbunds but now, you're more likely to run across ½ inch to ¼ inch fine ribbon belts that will accentuate the bride's waist.

Embellishments will be a focal point- from hand textured elements to interesting laces. What we?re not seeing is heavy bling, which also plays into the accessories. In fact, brides are also really liking buttons again as well.

Bows are back in a big way, whether they're situation at the top of the gown, or in the back. We?re seeing small tuxedo bows as embellishments on the shoes or belts, to huge bows reminiscent of the 80s.

Shoes are making a huge comeback- brides are really paying attention to what shoe they are wearing, especially if having a very black tie or outdoor wedding. Just remember, if you do switch shoes, that the gown is hemmed appropriately for both heel heights

Men are being a little more proactive in what they wear. As a result, the marketplace will be playing into that. Tuxedo rentals will look more like suiting. Expect to see more fine little ribbon stitching instead of heavy stain lapels, along with belts instead of cummerbunds. Bows and string ties will be the top picks, while navy blue and grey will be the two biggest colors playing into men's suiting, which will often be paired with brown accessories.
