Everything old is new again

this is all about taking trends from decades past and breathing new life into them and putting a polish on the past. Finding ways to integrate modern technology, colours, flair and boldness into the popular trends of eras gone by. In particular, we're seeing this happen with the tried and tested Boho Trend. Here at Wedding Academy HQ we're calling it 'Moho'. This modern twist on the classic Boho is still relaxed but with an injection of bolder more striking colours that give it a new modern twist.

Sustainable Weddings

2020 couples are looking for ways to reduce the environmental impact of their wedding from the wastage of food and use of plastic to all inclusive venues to avoid travel to multiple venue. It's all about reducing the carbon footprint a wedding can make. There are so many ways now to plan a sustainable wedding and some of those include using recycled paper for the wedding invites, opting for foam free (also known as oasis) florals, and working with caterers to ensure food is sourced locally and even choosing a venue that limits the amount of travel made by guests.

Multiple communication

a large part of our focus at the Wedding Academy is on helping our students to grow their wedding business and a trend we're seeing becoming bigger and bigger is multiple forms of communication with clients. It's no longer possible to rely on just one method for reaching your potential clients. Although email isn't going anywhere people's Inboxes are now rammed and so it's vital to have ways of staying in touch through more instant methods. This means looking at more ways of automating your messages so you can reach people quickly and easily by utlising platforms such as Messenger and WhatsApp and getting familiar with Chatbots which will explode in 2020.
