The Balearic Islands, Italy, France and Malta remain popular destinations for 2020 for UK couples, with short flight times from the U.K.

The UK remains an incredibly popular destination for couples from Australia, America and Asia, especially as overseas clients. The continuous love for the Royals, Downton Abbey, Harry Potter & Jane Austen, brings people from across the world to England for their idyllic English wedding.

"Couples are more aware of global and current priorities (ecology, recycling,et c...) and are including t hese in t heir weddings. We will also continue in involving guests even more in their weddings with shared experiences going from food (shared platters rather than plated meals); more activities around the wedding and during (games). In terms of styling, greenery might be on its last leg. We're going back to whites, pastel and natural colours."

"In destination weddings, I am seeing a move from a single destination event to a split destination celebration so that more of the couples nearest and dearest have the possibility of sharing in the memory. I also see a move from a single-day celebration to a weekend/week-long celebration that incorporates more quality time with their guests and addit ional opportunit ies to creat e last ing memories.

I believe that the trend and inception of the indoors moved outdoors movement will pick up pace in 2020 and be incorporated into a larger number of destination weddings with the added addition of fairy lights in statement designs that enhance and compliment the night sky. I see brides and grooms being increasingly eco-conscious and this 2019 trend will continue to blossom into 2020. Brides and grooms are looking for a unique, cost- effect ive and environment ally friendly approach to all aspects of their wedding day experience."

"Monochrome remains strong as a timeless colour palette. Clients and their wedding party are choosing to opt for black and white in the form of an all white bridal party, and tux inspired groomsmen. Red is also dazzling on the international wedding stage as clients travelling from Asia influence the colour trend. Dramatic, celebrity inspired pops of colour are woven through the designs of big budget, high end luxury weddings, from gowns to florals, draping to lighting."
