2020 Décor Predictions
"As the years go by, we have realised that the decor for a wedding is not just about looking good. It is about how it makes you feel and what it communicates. In 2020 we predict that weddings will be more personalised, customised and unique than any other year. We will see an increase in the use of bright and bold colours, stand out elements such as streamer hangings and balloon features, as well as textures of velvet and corduroy. 2020 is a year to think outside of the box and create wedding designs that have never been done before."

"More and more of our couples are challenging us to work in sustainable and cost effective solutions to their gorgeous wedding designs to reduce waste and recycle. We are achieving this through savvy product sourcing, less custom builds and more repurposing or hiring, rearranging floral installations into table centres after the ceremony, encouraging floral wrapping stations, eco-confetti & more. We absolutely love this trend and look forward to watching it grow and continue to push the creative boundaries in 2020."

"Textures and Mixtures, nothing has to match anymore. We are adding a lot of depth to the wedding design. If natural elements can stand alone such as a marble table, polished wood tables, mirrors, or glass tables, we are starting to build a mixture of elements on top of them. An elegant sheer ruffled table runner with an abundance of elements such as different floral concepts, mix on metallics, candles galore, glass pillars, geomet ric shapes and more. Depending on the client's theme we are tailoring the tablescape to their needs. This also includes hanging items that are either suspended from ceilings or built structurally over the guest tables. If the budget allows we like to upgrade the tableware as well to fit the theme. Colored glassware, gold flat wear, textured napkins, and 3-d menus."

"A lot of soft and natural tones, with nude and cream colours. White and clean design will also be present, with a mixture of materials, being as natural as possible eg wood."
