Dried, sustainable florals, will sit side by side with luxury high fashion. The challenge is to take a traditional floral centrepiece and create a signature design, redefining the flower ball or floating candle tablescapes seen in recent years. Sculptures, and cont emporary wireless lamps are emerging as cont enders and an alternative to candles. Great care is taken when considering the significant impact glassware, crockery and cutlery have on the overall style, as well as the guest experience.
What linen trends will we see in 2020?
Soft fabrics that puddle to the floor continue to dominate the wedding market, but as darker colours and patterns emerge so too are the coordinating linens, decor and stationery suite. A cohesive design can now include over sized florals across the stationery, centrepieces, and artisan designed tablecloths and napkins.
Billowing drapery is an emerging trend that can transform a venue covering the walls and even the ceiling. We are seeing backdrops and chairs styled with chiffons and silks for the ceremony, that then reappear alongside matching fine table linens for the wedding breakfast.
