CREAM TARTS

This simple, yet delicious, tart has the perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness from the cream and chocolate. The fresh fruit add the right amount of freshness to create the perfect bite.

Ingredients:

12 tart shells, baked according to package directions

3/4-1 cup chocolate chips

8 oz whipped topping, defrosted

1 package vanilla pudding mix

Blueberries, for topping

Mandarins, for topping

Fresh or frozen strawberries, for topping Kiwi, for topping

Fresh mint leaves, for topping

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 300°.

2. Place a handful of chocolate chips in each pre baked tart shell. Bake for 5 minutes.

3. Once out of the oven, smooth over with a spoon. Set aside.

4. Combine whipped topping and vanilla pudding mix in a mixing bowl. Whisk until stiff peaks form.

5. Fill each tart with cream. Top with desired fruit.

PEANUT BUTTER DATE SHAKE

This healthy shake is the perfect, refreshing, snack. Add a scoop of protein powder for a complete healthy snack.

Ingredients:

3 cups vanilla almond milk

10 dates, pitted

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup sugar free chocolate chips

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend very well, until combined. Chocolate will remain slightly chunky.

FRUIT SALAD WITH YOGURT DRESSING

This delicious twist on a fruit salad will have everyone asking for more. The halva granola adds crunchiness and brings everything together.

Ingredients for the Salad:

2 cups pineapple, cut into bite sized pieces

1 cup grapes, halved

1 1/2 cups blueberries

2 cups strawberries

3 kiwis, cut into bite sized pieces

11 oz can mandarins

Ingredients for Granola:

2 cups oats

1 cup pecans, chopped

1 cup salted almonds, chopped

1/2 cup chocolate chips

1 cup halva, divided

1/2 cup honey

1 tsp vanilla extract

Ingredients for Dressing:

5 oz plain Greek yogurt

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 Tbsp honey

1 tsp pineapple juice

1 small mint leaves, finely chopped Sprinkle of salt

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°.

2. Combine all granola ingredients on a lined baking pan, reserving half the halva for later.

3. Bake for 15-20 minutes, mixing halfway. Bake until golden. Let cool completely.

4. Combine all fruit salad ingredients in a large bowl. Set aside.

5. Combine all dressing ingredients and assemble salad.

HOMEY CINNAMON BUNS

Cinnamon buns are a timeless treat that embodies the perfect blend of softness, sweetness, and warmth. These indulgent spirals of tender dough are generously filled with a fragrant mixture of cinnamon and sugar, then baked to golden perfection. Often topped with a luscious glaze or cream cheese frosting, cinnamon buns are the ultimate comfort food, ideal for breakfast, brunch, or a cozy afternoon snack.

INGREDIENTS:

Dough:

• 4 cups whole milk

• 1 cup oil

• 1 cup sugar

• 2 packets dry yeast

• 9 cups Millstein's high-gluten flour (divided)

• 2 tsp. baking powder

• 1 tsp. baking soda

• 1 tbsp. kosher salt

Filling:

• 1 box dark brown sugar

• 3 tbsp. Millstein's cinnamon

• 2 sticks butter (very soft)

Cream Cheese Frosting:

• 1 cream cheese

• 1 box powdered sugar

• 2 tbsp. milk

• 1 tbsp. vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. In a large pot, heat the milk, oil, and sugar over medium heat until warm but not boiling. Remove from heat and add the yeast, letting it sit for a few minutes. until foamy and activated. Stir in 8 cups. of flour and mix until a sticky dough forms. Cover and let it rise for 1 hr.

2. After the dough has risen, add the remaining 1 cup. of flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until smooth, then cover and let it rise for another hour. Once ready, roll the dough into a large rectangle. Spread the softened butter evenly over the surface, then generously sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.

3. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 1-in. sections. Arrange the slices in a 9-in. round pan or place them individually in baking cups for single-serving buns. Let them rise again for about 20 min.

4. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Bake for 30 min. or until golden brown. While the buns are baking, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

5. Once the buns have cooled slightly, spread the frosting generously over the top. Serve warm and enjoy!
