Neville Tomkins OAM JP will work with Lloyd prior to conducting a formal handover of duties in early April.
Scouts NSW said Neville would be thanked at that time for his tireless contribution to Scouts NSW as its Chief Commissioner since 2016.
Lifeline hosts book fair
Lifeline’s first book fair for 2023 is being held on Saturday, February 18 and Sunday, February 19.
It is being held at the Civic Pavilion, The Concourse at 409 Victoria Avenue, Chatswood from 8am to 5pm.
“After last year’s incredibly successful book fair at this ever-popular venue, this fantastic family fundraiser draws people of all ages from far and wide for their pick of high-quality secondhand books, DVDs, CDs, vintage vinyls, comics, games, puzzles and more at unbeatable prices,” a Lifeline spokesperson said.
“On offer in the Civic Pavilion at the Chatswood Concourse over two big days will be more than 60,000 books in over 50 categories, including general fiction, art, architecture, travel, study guides and texts for High and Primary schools as well as books for young adults and children.”
This year Lifeline has book sets for sale as well as rare, signed and first editions.
“All special books have been hand-selected and checked to ensure their authenticity and of course include some editions that are difficult to find,” the spokesperson said.
