PolICe NeWS Grave concerns for missing Ryde man
Police said the family of James Dang hold grave concerns for his welfare after he did not return home on australia Day and the family could not contact him.
James is described as being of Asian appearance, of medium build with short black hair and brown eyes. He was last wearing a white, red and green chequered long sleeve polo shirt, long black pants and black shoes. His vehicle was located in North Head on Friday, January 27.

* * * a WoMaN and a man have been charged after an alleged stabbing in Ryde on Sunday, January 29.
Just after 9.30pm, emergency services were called to a unit on Devlin Street, Ryde, after reports a man had been injured.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 35-year-old man for a stab wound to his chest before he was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
Officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command later arrested a 37-year-old woman, who is allegedly known to the man.
She was taken to Ryde Police Station, where she was charged with reckless wounding and was refused bail. The man was released from hospital before he was taken to Chatswood Police station and charged with contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO (Domestic).
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Burwood Local Court on Thursday, February 23. ***
TWo TeeNaGerS were able to flee from a gang which tried to steal their shoes last week.
Police allege two unknown gang members approached the pair around 7.30pm on Sunday, January 29 along a footpath at Shrimptons Creek in Marsfield and one of the teens was punched.
Four more suspects appeared but the teenagers were able to run away.

The 25 year old woman appeared before Parramatta Local Court on Monday, January 30 charged with one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and four counts of common assault.
She will return to Parramatta Local Court for sentencing in March. *** a PUBlIC aPPeal has gone out to help police capture a person or persons who stole war medals from a home in Hunters Hill on Monday, January 23.
Police said the medals were stolen alongside a coin collection and jewellery from the Gaza Avenue home between 10:30 am and 1:30pm.

The 35 year old was arrested around 11:20pm on Thursday, January 19 after police received information that three males, aged 29, 35 and 61-years-old were acting suspiciously in the carpark of a West Ryde business.
The pistol was found after a search of the area and a police investigation linked it to the 35-year-old suspect.
He was charged with possess unauthorised pistol, possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority and acquire pistol, subject to firearms prohibition order.
He was refused bail.
*** a DrIVer tested positive for cocaine and cannabis on Thursday, January 19 during an RBT operation on Victoria Road, West Ryde. It is alleged the 23 year driver was tested around 11:40pm and returned a positive roadside test for cocaine.
He is then alleged to have confessed to carrying cannabis, which was seized by police.
A subsequent test is alleged to have also found him to be under the influence of cannabis.
