ArtWalk Downtown Billings Fetes Summer on Friday, August 3rd ArtWalk Downtown Billings fetes summer on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 5 – 9 p.m. This is the third of six events scheduled in ArtWalk’s 24th Season. ArtWalk is a festive outpouring of the eclectic, creative spirit alive in the Magic City. ArtWalk extends a special welcome to Liberty and Vine, now open at 2019 Montana Avenue. Five new Season Members have joined the ArtWalk: Cassie Crafton Kramer’s 504 Square Feet, This House of Books, The Sassy Biscuit Co., Bishops Cut and Color and the Fieldhouse Annex Bakery & Cafe. They will participate in the 24th Season remaining events on the first Fridays of October and December 2018 and February 2019. Kucera’s Annual Classic Car and Art Show at 2111 Montana Avenue is a One-Time Participant. Free Spirit Rock School Band plays classic music, rock and jazz selections on North Broadway near Skypoint and 2nd Avenue North. McCormick Cafe is the only ArtWalk location within the boundary of the co-occurring Magic City Blues Fest at North 25th Street and Montana Avenue. Other Montana Avenue locations are open and accessible. ArtWalk locations include art studios, galleries, museums, a downtown church, downtown businesses and other “artworthy” venues. ArtWalk events are free and family-friendly. ArtWalks are held regardless of inclement weather. Downtown on-street metered parking is free and parking garage rates vary.
